I don’t understand how they are to know certain things like drive being an insult to motorbike riders.
They're not, the whole point is to make them look like idiots. No doubt someone in the production team was in big trouble when it transpired that Bradley is a biker ... Next thing we know Shazia changes all Bradley's suggestions (which the professional panel liked). It's now so obviously staged that I'm getting bored of it.

Yogitagate…

I do wonder what happened with this.....I dont like either Shazia or Mark, and can see that it might have got complicated in a discussion, with Shazia desperate for the name Yogitia because it is inclusive, and others not so impressed because its quite a long name for a childrens show! It must have been tough for everyone in the house to witness, particularly Shazia herself.

However, Im also wondering if it contributed to the tit show of the Electric bike design? Zip Zap, where no one in her sub team seemed willing to disagree with anything Shazia said? If they were still reeling from a racist allegation a couple of days or weeks before, no wonder they were being quite so polite. It even might explain how she got to be sub team leader, when Bradley obviously wasnt keen on her being the sub team leader, but he let her get away with it!

Im still enjoying/amused by some of it...... although the staging can be irritating!

It would be good to see a team making an inspired or excellent pitch for instance. I think if Bradley had been able to keep the CafE driver logo, they might have been able to do something with it. He had the right market of generation Z, and I thought the voice over for the finished advert made their advert a lot lot better than the one Sir Alan prefered. I would have liked to hear what the experts thought about that pitch as well!

And that stupid article in the Radio Times this week didn't help either with Sirallun saying that you can only work in an office, working at home isn't really working. Is he even aware the 1980s were 40 years ago, the rest of us have moved on with the times?
Lord sugar can SMD. I’ve worked remotely since covid was a lad and I’ve delivered fuckloads of successful projects. He’s an old Tory prick.

Same!!!
*the wfh and projects delivered. I’m not an old Tory prick.

Shugs' article was definitely not motivated by Amsprop losing a tit load of money after the pandemic. The world has changed and dinosaurs like LS are going extinct ;) again.

Imagine being 70-odd and having a tantrum because your workers want to work from home

My toes were curled through cringing so much that they were almost broken. What a load of embarrassing shite.
I’d be like, where’s my luxury afternoon tea and champagne bruv

Finally caught up last night with the episode and You‘re Fired. Shazia was dreadful. Felt sorry for Bradley as he was so passionate about motorbikes and it must have been demoralising trying to sell that rubbish to the experts. Shazia would be a nightmare to work with. She doesn’t back down even when she is wrong.

She was so difficult to watch on the you’re fired show, she kept arguing her point

He's Tory now, but he was a Labour man (including his seat in the House of Lords) until they doubled down on the whole not-liking-Jews thing. Ultimately I suppose he goes to wherever he thinks a normal working class lad millionaire should go.
