She constantly looks like she's chewing a wasp. Tim always looks constantly surprised or bemused as well. I'm sure they're told to do that but it's all become so panto. At least Nick and Margaret were subtle and their reactions seemed a lot more genuine, particularly Nick.

Even the firing scenes are becoming so annoying with his constant use of 'regretful' to make it seem like he's about to fire a different person. It never used to be like that!!!

“and so it’s with deep regret that (insert name)……..you didn’t sell more” Then he starts talking about someone else.

I tend to ignore his first “regret” as I know it’s a fake one

It does feel very staged this year, a lot of bits with Alan featured feel like he's on the 50th take & thoroughly pissed off with it all!

Agree on Karen, she was in uber dick shrivelling mode with her comments last night!

I can't take to any of them, Dani seems the most reasonable one up to now, possibly 🤔 (I'd have sworn she was a daughter of Danny Dyer, but apparently not! 😃)

Finding it hard to warm to any of them this year.
I dislike Mark now because I thought he was very condescending to Denisha. OK she wasn't great but at least she wasn't unpleasant. I can't stand the Scottish guy or Shazia either (she's far too moany).

yeah Mark was really condescending wasn’t he.
Reece gives me the creeps ( feel bad to say) but his lip licking was very offputting.
Shazia is so miserable especially after the Yogita drama. That negotiation for the ABBA single was baaad.

Was it just me or was Karen extra bitchy last night?

She’s been a right sneering cow this series. Might be the editing (🙄), but every comment is acidic over constructive

We realise most of the contestants - sorry, candidates* - are fools without your sneers, Baroness

My favourite (most tolerable) is Dani, who seems somewhat practical. Joe, while extremely handsome, is coming across as trustworthy as a 🐍 - always in the background, carefully covering his back

The program needs a proper shakeup, it might be time for Shugs to go in favour of someone else and definitely Karen. Tim’s a lot better this series so he’s obviously settling into the role.

There's not much humour this series so far. There's usually a couple of funny characters or a bromance type thing (I LOVED Nick and Akshay last year) but I can't really see any it that happening this year. They're all a bit dry.

Yeah I agree. I love the apprentice and have watched every series but close to not bothering with anymore from this series. I thought maybe the challenges were getting boring but they've been repetitive for years and still been worth watching so I reckon it's the cast. Some of the firings were random as well so can't even play along and guess who will go.

Nick was one of my favourite contestants ever.

Greg presented as bright and well educated so I wonder if he had to be fired before the shopping task. I think he would have been able to read a map, know what a trug was, know what a 45 was etc. The producers want the contestants to struggle to create the entertainment and if one knows what everything on the shopping list is then that's the premise ruined.

And it annoyed me that we were never told what Parlourde was apart from "something to do with fish" ...
