As devastated as I am, at least the news of Klopp leaving Liverpool might dominate German media enough to keep Zverev off the papers. Just trying to find some comfort in my state of mourning

Even without everything surrounding Zverev he shouldn’t make it to the final for how long it takes him to serve, so annoying watching him, games would be half the time if he didn’t fanny around

Amazing. I know Zverez is a choker and will never fulfill his potential (minus that Tokyo gold medal), but this feels so good, for many reasons. Letting that match go into a fifth against a man like Medvedev is just idiotic.
As for the final: I love both Daniil and Jannik, so I’ll be delighted with either winner. I’m sure the crowd will be on Jannik‘s side though

Just read that it’s going to be the first Australian Open final since 2005 without Nadal, Federer or Novaxx. Kind of a crazy statistic, but then you look at Alcaraz‘ Wimbledon victory last year and see that he was the first one in 20 years whose name wasn’t Federer, Nadal, Murray or YouknowWho.
