Tennis #3 🎾

Fair play to both, wasn’t much that separated them but Djokovic just edged him on the day, felt like he wanted it more in moments. The best match of the year, the game for 4-4 in the first set was ridiculous.

If Novak could drop his food and workout routine it’d be appreciated, cause keeping up with a 21 year old at 37 is insane, I hurt my knee just painting the walls a few weeks ago🫣😂

👀 congrats to Carlos on your silver medal

And Novak. Well done. Genuinely.

😁

Yeah, well done Novak.
I say through gritted teeth with a fake smile

In seriousness though, it was a great match. I don’t think anyone could have stopped him today. He knows it was likely now or never. I know he’s like a machine but I do doubt he will be playing at a high enough level in another 4 years…hopefully 😂

Hang on best of three?! I'm not sure why it was stated in several places the final was best of five!

I couldn't watch it but I'm not surprised he managed to pull it together to get the win. Might of been quite different with five!

Definitely as I feel Alcaraz is often a slow starter.

Poor Andy Murray had to play best of five (luckily winning in 3 sets against Federer and 4 sets against Del Potro 👏).

It wasn't even best of 3. It was 2 sets and a championship tie break.

Andy has 2 Novak

I just don’t think Djokovic needed to do that violin thing when he beat Rafa. Otherwise well done…I guess.
