Yep, it's the best of 3 despite the ITF website saying that the men's singles and doubles finals will be the best of 5 sets.

I honestly don't get it because on the ITF website it even says that all the matches are played best of three sets except the men's singles and doubles finals which are best of five. So, I don't know why it has been changed to the best of 3.

The men’s doubles yesterday was BO3 with a third set first to 10 tiebreak. Thought it was bollocks that a gold medal is decided on a tiebreak, should have at least been a full third set.

I'll just use it as an excuse now to take a shine off Djoko winning it. He won his gold finally but wasn't best of 5 so shouldn't really count like the others before him that won.

I don't like him but since his haters constantly hold the lack of Olympic Gold as some kind as mark against his GOAT status I'm very pleased that he won today. At that age after a surgery just a few weeks ago against the next big superstar as a cherry on the top too.
