I'm not ready for it to be over the only I can't see falling into place like everything else is rebecca being a mum in a single episode. But it's Ted so you know they've figured it out perfectly.

The ending was lovely...maybe not what I expected or wanted but it was still fab a lot of stuff was left slightly ambiguous but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

I really want to read Trent Crimm's book though

That was one of the ambiguous parts but my guess is yes, it certainly implied it.

Love that Rebecca got her happy ending though (although the Ted/Rebecca shippers are obviously gutted )

They have been leading up to Ted's wife realising her new bloke is a bit of a dick and his behaviour when they were watching the match sealed the deal.
I think they were suggesting she and Ted work things out but it's left for the viewer to decide.

I absolutely loved the ending honestly.

Maybe I’m biased as an Arsenal fan but this little nugget of having the white board that Mikel used for his team talk on the Richmond white board was the example of how well the show uses the little details. They also had a very similar season to Arsenal so it felt poetic.

I gasped out loud about Roy becoming manager.

It's a little detail, but the light on Ted's face through the window on the plane shows that he is coming home and it is a good decision, you know?

I hope it’s the cheesy, weepy, schmaltzy, happily ever after for everyone that we have come to expect. I love that it’s nicer than real life but somehow still relatable (like the also wonderful Schitts Creek).

This tweet sums it up for me - he had checked out and there was a distinct lack of emotion from him. Maybe his way of coping but it was 3 years of his life!

Still disappointed that they did not do the NSync dance they rehearsed in season 2!

Well that was lovely. Cheesy and schmaltzy and not what life is like but I don’t bloody care Perfect ending. Love that Jamie and Roy could be friends, love Roy managing, love Ted being home, love Rebecca staying at the club and getting a happy ending.
This and Schitt’s Creek are just the absolute best feel good shows.
