I imagine she wanted her account to stay anonymous (like most) but also wanted to comment on the recent thread, but her comments might have given her away so set up a new account

That’s exactly what I thought. It would make sense to stay anonymous if you want to stir the pot. I think it’s an odd conclusion to come to to suggest she used her real social media handle to stir up trouble 🤔

I am odd. I get called worse. I apologise for my suspicion

Someone else trying to cancel her contract because its not working for her. She gets told to 'drink her calories'. I was told this too. I think advising people to force feed themselves is so wrong

Everybody who has received a letter, check terms and conditions to see if it’s in there that your data can be passed on for the reason of the letter I.e it’s probably in there that they can for debt collectors or Solicetor for non payment. If it not in there for this particular reason then contact C.I.O on 0303 1231113 they will talk you through what to do and will get involved and especially if they have multiple complaints.
It’s very possible they have broken data protection laws doing this.

All I can find. Will check with C.I.O

Sorry I mean I.C.O 🙈
It’s laughable that he is guilty of everything under section 11. I think anyone who cancelled a DD they will see as breach of contract so they can keep our info to raise a claim against us. Then there is a mention about legal claims and that must be for them against us as well as us against them - surely that can only be while someone is a member - once your contract ended you become an ex member and can request deletion of data.
I was going to respond to the email and tell them I would not comply as I have a right to leave a negative review on trust pilot without the threat of legal action and was also going to throw GDPR at them as well, and request all my data removed off Tiger Law and TRH systems within 1 month. Todays decision is to ignore, though I might change my mind again at some point. Anyone have to sign for a letter today? You can’t prove receipt of an email and you can refuse to sign for a letter - wonder what they’ll do next!

Another way to see it, if you reply with that - 1. It would cost him for further Solicetor letters and time. 2. If it went to court the court would have to take what you have said into account and will highlight to the court their own wrong doings.
3. ask them for evidence of your wrong doings which they wouldn’t be able to supply and the court won’t take it on without evidence and the court would see you requested it and not supplied.

it would also just cause him more headache like he likes to do with us.

I’ve sent the letter the ico told me to write and they have to reply within 1 calendar month. They’re reply gets then sent to ico for investigation. the more of us that does this the more weight it carries against them.

also again get it logged to trading standards via citizens advice. The more of us that does these things the more chance we have of getting them investigated.

the thing is I was getting to a stage of putting all this crap behind me and moving on. This letter has now kicked me into action even more. I’ve even started to fight trust pilot again to reinstate my review. If the ico comes back they’ve breached data protection then that would be another thing to add to it and this letter aswell.

also was told if you ignore it would be seen by courts (if it makes it there) that were guilty of it. I’m NOT guilty of it so I’m not hiding.

Had my letter today!😂😂

Unfortunately for Mr Hair Rug not only am I a finance manager with tons of qualifications so I have a lot of finance knowledge, my best friend is a solicitor so there’s no way on earth he can shut me up legally when I have proof of his words to me and others now!
Also shows that maybe trust pilot do give your details out when you post reviews as he contacted me by post having had those details that trust pilot asked for to verify my bad review on them.

So mum reloaded opened a 2nd account to try and stir more trouble? When people do that, i instantly doubt anything they have previously said. Its not a very honest way to go about things
I very much doubt she was here to stir the pot. Given what I have seen on her page and a certain person who knew her well she is definitely not that type of person. She was sent a message asking if she had seen tattle. She didn't know it existed so she was looking. I know what the other place done to her and another ex affiliate and honestly no way was she here to poke that hornets nest.

From looking at one of the comments on Cathy's page I think I know who you mean. It sounded like she knew Cathy, my guess is she was trying to be subjective but didn't get it across in the right way. I'm sure if she was a mole she wouldn't use something so similar to her own name and certainly wouldn't have posted on Cathy's page
If it is the same person from what I can gather she doesn't know her personally. Other than the comment there is no indication anywhere else that she does. So I agree I think it just came across wrong.

I don't know details of what went on with C and Richie but I do believe she is a decent person and not someone who would stir things up again.

He was absolutely horrific to her for a long time and am sure she wouldn't want it to start again

As I said I dont know her personally but she was the first affiliate I followed and have stuck with her and followed her to Preece and in that 3 or 4 years I have never seen a hint of anything shady with her.

I agree with you - not sure if you took my message the wrong way but I wasn’t suggesting she’s pot stirring, rather the exact opposite. I joined TRH before the affiliates launched and by the time I left I still followed a few of them, including Mum Reloaded so saw what was happening at the time. I think she just wanted to come on here and speak for herself as “Mum Reloaded” and not an anon profile.

New here - but have been an avid tattle reader for a while- directed here regarding someone else in the health and fitness biz. I tried to cancel my membership as too scared to post anything for fear of being shouted at- can’t complain about it not working as I haven’t been following it (that’s why it’s not working - because I’m not obsessive enough to follow it) and because I’m so unfit that I actually cannot physically cope with 10000 steps a day but can’t mention it or I’ll be called lazy. I tried to cancel (joined towards the end of 2021) got the threatening email about debt collectors etc if I didn’t reinstate so I reinstated (crawling out of a bad debt record last thing I need is another mark on it) but in reading here now wondering if the threats are just empty and it’s ok to cancel?

I cancelled. I have received 4 threatening emails and nothing else. I actually hope they take me to court, but i doubt they'll do anything

Sorry my apologies I did read it wrong.

You are not alone in wanting to cancel. I only found myself on Tattle by accident after signing up and realising within moments that what they promised was a lie. There is no personalised nutritional and exercise plan tailored to my goals so I requested a cancellation, which is when it blew up about how I’d opened an app blah blah blah and waived my rights to a 14 day cooling off period. I spoke to citizens advice who suggested cancellation under the Consumer Protection (Amendment) Regulations 2014 as they clearly missold and I subsequently discovered from a member of this group that they also breached ASA guidelines with a sign up offer that was in fact not a limited time only offer. I cancelled the direct debit and claimed back my initial £6.99 payment. i have not yet received a threatening email but suspect it’s coming - however this is not a financial contract so cannot impact a credit score and a debt collector cannot step foot near you unless they take you small claims court. It’s doubtful they’d go that far, as it would cost more than they would get back not to mention all this tit on tattle would be out in the open, which is why many members of this forum have received a solicitors letter about negative reviews we’ve left online. Any Judge in the land would laugh it out of court. Aww diddums didn't like getting a negative review, dry your bloody eyes pal and grow a pair.
Cancel your DD and stand strong, plenty of us in here have done it and are here to support each other when the threats come in. They are bullies using scare tactics.

Thanks. Think I’m just gonna go ahead and cancel for real this time. They already got an extra month out of me running scared
