I signed up last year around end of April but couldn't keep up with the targets and steps etc I'm disabled too which made it harder. If you've paid for the year does your contract automatically renew? I don't want to renew but I just want to make sure I'm not tied in for another year. Any advice appreciated 🙏

I would say to cancel it with your bank to be sure, because you've got no chance of getting a refund with them if the money gets taken again

You could always contact them, and ask how much you owe. Should be 2months and pay it in one go. Then cancel your direct debit with your bank. That's what I did, I owed one month, paid it then cancelled. It is so frustrating and totally sucks that it's such a rubbish programme, with no proper support and you're tied in for the full year.

But it's OK for people to keep paying £5.99 a month for a free app MFP and a website that is utter dog tit. Trading standards where art thou? 🥴
What are the chances that trading standards would accept those screen shots? What we need is for TRH to take those of us they are throwing accusations at, to court, so that we get the opportunity to throw all this back at them. Remember they have to prove we are guilty of what they claim, still not entirely sure why I got a letter as leaving a review on trust pilot is not illegal, but, they also have to prove what’s appeared on here is false as well. i really think they are playing a dangerous game as this could really blow up in their faces. Can you imagine if the mole came forward as well, ooh icing on the cake.

How long ago are these screen shots from?As this is what it looks like from my phone just now from their website. Granted, the app is piss poor though for what you can already get on MyFitnessPal. I was a member for a while before cancelling my subscription, delighted I did after reading over the past 5 threads on this forum. What an eye opener to how their 'team' treat former affiliates, staff and paying clients, absolutely horrific way to be treated.

It didn't sit right with me that I was asked for a copy of my driving licence or ID when I joined up, 'so they can verify that I'm not some Juice Plus rep or such like because my facebook was set to private so they couldn't snoop through my page! Infact, did anyone else have to do this? Provide ID? Never heard of a company doing this ever.

that’s a new one on me. I do remember they used to say you had to have a profile picture to join their Facebook group tho. Paranoia to the max

To be honest I had covid and wasnt in a fit state to be signing up, I have no memory of being asked to upload my licence but that doesn’t mean I didn’t do it.

I didn’t get asked for I.D like driving license, do they even have the right to ask for that for just a diet plan 🤔. I didn’t have to have profile picture on fb either and mines locked, why do they spy through Facebook profiles. The more I read on this company the more they absolutely disgust me. I’ve never heard any other companies behaving in this appalling manner 🤬

I very nearly signed up last month after viewing a few of what must’ve been the more positive videos. I’m so glad I read the threads first. What an absolute wet wipe of a company. Piggy backing off the free MFP app to yell and rant whilst plugging supplements then he berates any other company for doing the same. And the way he talks about members?? How is he still going?

It would deffo be worth logging a report if you're still a paying member because you're not getting the service you've paid for. I have been trying to find out who regulates such online companies.

I know that Ashbourne were taken to court and prosecuted for unfair gym contracts so it is possible

I seen a comment on the Jason Manford group. A lady was struggling she'd stuck to calories and steps but he said she hadn't tracked properly because her facebook that he had raked through even though he isn't on her facebook had a picture she had put on of pear drops. So she was lying and had to track properly. She had put the picture on as she hadn't seen them in years.

i remember this, she was publicly shamed in the group, everyone pounced on her, was awful 🙁

I've spent the last few days reading all 5 threads after a friend let me know about the WhatsApp leak, themwhoshallnotbenamed, you are a superstar! I'll admit I was the person who recommended the plan to anyone and everyone because I believed it to be the best and I still believe in small deficit for long term success but after seeing the bullying that happens and the issues with 12 month contract I can no longer recommend them. Does anyone else remember a early day video where he said gyms that locked you into a 12 month contract should be avoided as they obviously wasn't good enough to stay with out of choice? Oh the irony! I'd also like to add that there is alot of negative about the people who jump to his defence but if you compare his cohesive and controlling behaviour to that of a abusive partner I feel sorry for the minions opposed to angry with them, well maybe angry with the ones who know or refuse to believe the truth but even then he is clearly a skilled abuser and narcissistic person who has sucked in many. I just wish the reviews were honest so people had all the facts 1st.
