They've got Piers on repeat late night and Sundays as well as his 5 nights a week actual show.

Overkill. It's not 'Talk' tv. It's 'Piers Morgan' tv.
Feck that.

I'm not tuning in during the evenings any more.

I'll stick to Mike Graham, Ian Collins and Kev O'Sullivan and ignore the rest.
 
He's only even on 4 days a week yet still 2 repeats on Fridays. They literally ripped up a Friday night schedule that I enjoyed and made a habit of listening to all to accommodate Piers on a day he doesn't even work. I don't like GB News as much but I now switch over to Patrick Christys' show there when Rob Rinder finishes because two Piers repeats, a serious news show and James Whale/Ash is a shite schedule for one night, but especially when it's the end of the week and you want something decent to watch/listen to.

talkRADIO was a great station. Not as convinced by talkTV PiersTV yet.

They must have been aware that they'd piss off the regular evening listeners and weighed up that it was worth it.

I never really listened in the evening as Mair and Ian dale are pretty good. Were they getting good ratings before? Once Ian Collins is done for the day talk radio seems over for me
 
Got told about this old tweet from Nicola Thorp who works on The Talk on Talk TV. In the few years since very little has changed. We see many media articles mentioning the weight or clothes size of women like it's relevant and calling her a dear is patronising. I wish I knew who it was who sent it her.

I wonder if it was even real? It seems to be promoting a weight podcast by jameela Jamil and she's so full of absolute fantasy.

If it was real then there would be no harm in naming them as wouldn't be liable 🤷‍♀️

I didn't realise the amount of beef Nicola Thorp and Piers Morgan have had in the past. I wonder if it's still there now they work for the same company as they will see each other all the time because one show follows the other.

She used to be in Coronation Street apparently but I don't watch it. She's now a regular panelist on the show Sharon Osbourne and Jeremy Kyle do that follows Piers.

Talk seems to be very pro Amber heard - "she couldn't possibly be making this up, no way she's this good of an actress" when it seemed like pretty bad acting to me. They don't appear to allow another view from their presenters or experts. Are they really that bitter over the Jonny vs the Sun case?
 
She's only done three shows but I wouldn't bet against Mrs O not doing another. Covid for Ozzy couldn't have come at a better time as it gave her the chance to scarper as ratings started to plunge.
 
I don’t see her back either. The show can function easily without her and given that it’s never going to get great ratings, they may as well save money.

Mel B is the latest addition to the Talk, she’s appeared a few times. Vanessa Feltz & Jeremy Kyle appear to be rotating anchors.

Is 'the talk' one of the shows with low ratings?
 
Mike Graham is on the Talk tonight so it looks like the daytime presenters are taking turns in appearing on it.

Sharon won't be back.
 
Sharon was on last Monday's show on a video stream throughout the entire show then wasn't even mentioned the rest of the week let alone an appearance.

After tonight - Mike Graham, James Max, Ian Collins & Jeremy Kyle will have all appeared. Maybe Cristo next? I think he'd be good on this one.

I saw something suggesting that Rob Rinder was due to be involved with The Talk but pulled out for some reason.
 
Tonight's Talk is Ulrika Jonsson, Ian Collins, Mike Graham, Nicola Thorp and Linford Christie with Sharon doing a video appearance from LA. Not a bad lineup.

She's on video tonight. Still seemingly in the fold but I'm not sure for how long.
 
Sharon seems a bit more with it now she's attending via webcam. Maybe it's because she's prepped and given a time to chime in.

ulrika doesn't bring much. Linford needs some help to join in.
