Wow. We caught up a couple of nights ago and I'm still heartbroken. Not for Logan, he's a dick but for the kids. My husband lost his dad recently so it hit us a bit harder than it normally would have but they absolutely fantastic in capturing the rawness and the grief.

This episode and these amazing actors deserve all of the awards and I'm so happy we finally decided to watch it or we would have missed a fantastic piece of TV and fantastic acting.

I can't really think of anything else to say but just.. Bravo to everyone involved.

Yes, plane was shot separately on a soundstage.

The 27 minute long one shot scene of the siblings on a boat was done with Matthew dialling in from London. Had to Wambsgans from the spare room 😂

This is amazing! I love that he was actually on the phone! Makes it that tiny bit more authentic.

I'm so glad I got the jist of what happened in that ep before I watched it. I'm usually annoyed when I accidentally see a spoiler but glad I was prepared as it was super close to home.

The whole tension of them just not believing he's dead and and no one actually just telling then straight was heartbreaking!

i think it showed aswell how much kerry only really existed when logan was around and now he's gone she's nothing and has absolutely 0 connections to anything. Even colin logans driver seemed lost at the end just staring at the plane and not really knowing what to do with himself. I suppose he is in the same boat.

I loved that scene. Very subtle.

I can't pick one stand out. They were all superb.

I read a review somewhere that suggested perhaps the ending will show one of them succeeding but with Logan gone there is nobody to impress and the ‘prize’ wasn’t worth the fight.

That’s a good point: none of them have ever shown any real interest in running the empire; it was always more about being ‘chosen’/loved by Logan rather than actually taking on the job.

i think that’s always been clear from the show tbh. any time one of them has had to step up, or undertake a task, they’ve failed. it’s never been about the company - it’s always been “dad promised me” or wanting to be the child who is “chosen” by a father who never showed love in any other way.

it is interesting how that win plays out now that logan’s gone. the thing they all actually wanted to achieve is gone.

Oh poor Shiv! What a horrible episode for her. Ken has always been my favourite sibling but I think I might be Team Shiv now😭

Team Roman here 🙌 always thought it was interesting Romulus was the last emperor of the Roman Empire 🧐 and Logan always referred to him as that.

So many different scenarios could play out now that are plausible and I think anyone could end up with the crown. I just remember what Logan said last episode but one, that a night of the long knives is coming 😏 I think the next few episodes will be amazing.
