I think I may be in a minority here because as much as I love Jeremy (I really do), Kieran is another cut above for me. Kieran and Matthew are my top two, without a doubt - I’d struggle to pick between them, it probably changes from episode to episode
Agree with your top choices they are mine too!I think I may be in a minority here because as much as I love Jeremy (I really do), Kieran is another cut above for me. Kieran and Matthew are my top two, without a doubt - I’d struggle to pick between them, it probably changes from episode to episode
Tom is my favourite.
He is a slimy, snobby, arse licker who has shown he has a ruthless streak. He is also very funny.
For the record I think he genuinely loves Shiv.

They’re all so broken, none of them know how to love properlysame! i think he’s always loved her, in a completely genuine way that she doesn’t know how to work with because who in her life has really loved her like that?
sarah snook gave a really interesting answer to the question “does shiv love tom?” which i now cannot find, but she believes that shiv loves him, but just doesn’t know how to express that love. i thought it was really interesting how when he hugged her in this ep she brought up her clasped hands between them.
they had Brian Cox on the HBO podcast and he was at pains to say that Logan absolutely loves his children. I have to say, I don’t see it. He screws them over, he plays them off against each other, he lies to them, he puts them down, he misses one of their weddings, he hits a grandchild, he turns their mother against them. What is it about his behaviour that demonstrates “love” in any way?!
What am I missing? Maybe he thinks he loves them, but actually is just incapable of it, so assumes that some sort of proximity or paying them any attention at all equates to love.

I think the scars on his back may well have a lot to do with it, LaBlonde, but I doubt that we’ll ever get the full story, Jesse Armstrong doesn’t work like that! We can speculate.
Yeah, that could be right Nadia, but I then thought, well if Brian Cox thinks that’s love, is he maybe more Logan than he thinks?? Like he can’t portray love because he doesn’t feel it either. I didn’t enjoy his segment that much, I think he came off quite arrogant and dismissive. He’s a terrific actor, but as a human being, I’m less sure…
That's a good point, makes you wonder if Logan and Brian are similiar. I think they are in the sense they are old school/right wing leaning and snowflake hating! Still love Brian though and think his straight shooting is funny in the sense people don't know how to take it
I do think Logan loves his kids but it's a conditional love. Sadly for his kids, they never meet his conditions.
I also don't think Tom loved Shiv, cared for her but not loved. I don't think he would have dated her if she wasn't Logan's daughter.
My bets are: Ken commits suicide, Shiv is pregnant and steps away from the family with Tom.
Yes to this but I could also see it going a different way with Shiv & Tom forming the new key/powerful part of the family (which I guess was their original plan before it all went to hell)My bets are: Ken commits suicide, Shiv is pregnant and steps away from the family with Tom.
