I've only ever really read the live show threads before this year so am getting an insight into the feral behaviour! My faves went out weeks ago, so am fairly relaxed: am supporting John but pretty sure Rose will win, which I'm happy enough about. Just hoping to enjoy the returning celebs, maybe a shirtless Nikita, McTom in a desperate bid to locate the camera at all times etc.

OMG I just remembered someone casually suggesting that AJ might do her dances in a wheelchair! as if that were something she might be able to manage with a day's notice, and wouldn't instead be the worst thing any of us had ever seen...

I actually mentally thought about that for 2 seconds based upon how upset she was & how hard she's worked then realised what a twattish thing that would be🤭🤣
ETA not that using a wheelchair is twattish, just in context of the show👍

I feel the need to share with you all that I had a dream last night, featuring... Neil Jones!! 🤢
I feel traumatized!!! It was completely out the blue with no warning!
I will not be taking questions at this difficult time...

Now, if you excuse me I'm off for a deep dive into Gorka Marquez' insta feed to try and cleanse my soul!!

I just thought about how long it takes people who perform or compete in wheelchair events - literally years! the idea that she could do anything other than move back and forwards slowly in a chair is bizarre.
But yeah, maybe sitting on a bench and then Kai lifting her would work.
 
Every DS appreciation thread is full of nutters! Rose and Gio, AJ and Kai... I haven't looked on the J & J one but I'm sure there is a few crackpots there too! Anyone who gets so invested that they fight with people on the internet over people they have never met who are on a light entertainment show, needs to have a word with themselves!🤯

I am a Rose fan, have been since early on. She seems like a cool person and I like watching her dance- I think she's great. I've warmed to Gio too, always thought he seemed like a cliché of himself and took himself quite seriously. I like that this year, he can take the piss out of himself, or let Rose take the piss.

That being said would think John is a deserving winner too and AJ had she still been in the final. I really find it odd that the Aj stans are now going on the 'let's stop Rose winning now our fave is gone' route???? Considering a few weeks ago, the general consensus was we all want an AJ-John-Rose fnal and each is a deserving winner. I dunno, just seems a bit mad! It's not like Rose physically tore AJs ligament!

We all know TomChin is the only contestant likely to be going around tearing finalists ligaments!!! 🤪

Maybe eat less cheese late at night. It will stop the nightmares and the dreams of cheesy dancers as well

The general SCD threads are bad enough on there, but the Appreciation Threads take obsession to an entirely new dimension.

I suspect the average age of the users is within the middle-age bracket, yet a majority of them behave like gaggling puerile secondary schoolers overdosed on too much Wattpad.
