I really do think it’s inappropriate for the judges to be teaching classes with someone who is being investigated for allegations of unacceptable behaviour. I expected better of Craig and Motsi. Even Kai backed out and he’s been on GB news!

There seems a real divide between the judges and the pros, none of whom have done anything to support him publicly, even Lauren (all her stories are just about the show in general).

On the one hand you might argue the judges maybe know more about what's going on with the investigation.. but OTOH the pros know Bellendo much better and hte day

Motsi was a revelation as a judge last year which is absolutely mad since she's been on the show since 2019! Anton was everything you wanted in a judge during his first year then it all quickly went to tit.

I think it started with his feedback for Hamza's Salsa - which at the time was funny as it was spontaneous and fitted the unexpected nature of the moment. Then that just seemed become his judging persona and it's been just awkward and unfunny ever since.

I do think a lot of it is production influence and being encouraged to ham up to a particular persona.

Probably 50/50 with Anton - production do probably encourage the 'village idiot' act, but IIRC, someone on here was at the Blackpool show and said he acted very nervous off-camera. And though he has lots of on-screen personality, he was never really that articulate. So it wouldn't shock me if he was actually struggling to give decent critiques. I guess the judging honeymoon is over for him.

I'm less focused on Gio (still side-eyeing those judges though), and more on who will replace him. And I hope that it's a very attractive, likeable 25 year old who is a really dynamic dancer and kills it in his first season, allowing everyone to completely forget the FR's existence.

Wouldn't hurt for the new pro to give Mr. Kuzmin a run for his money, right?

All the judges are about the money. Those classes are a real money maker - looked to be at least 40 people at each one and at £100 per person, that’s easy money for them for a an hour or so work. Gio really ought to be concentrating on the business side of things of GP Vita. I was being nosey and wondered if he had financial accounts on companies house anyway his confirmation statement is overdue. For someone who is a perfectionist, I thought he would be on top of all things business.

I saw her in the comments of a Tiktok that wasn't even about Nikita replying to someone who had suggested that he might be bi, saying 'he's straight, he's just an ally ackshully'. Why is she lurking in the comments of Strictly Tiktoks?? I know her bio says 'Nikita fangirly', but dial it down, Lauren.

I do think his girlfriend is a bit of a fame bleep. I think she has deleted some insta posts but pretty much all her posts were either her posing for the camera, her and Nikita or with some other ‘famous’ person like her palling up with Zara McDermott and pictures at Bradley Riches engagement party. I think it’s sad that a young woman, who is clearly smart as she has a degree from Durham, just seems to spend all her time following her boyfriend around achieving fame vicariously.

I’ve seen a fan account for her and her posing for pictures with Nikitas fans. She clearly has some vulnerable young girls fangirling and they seem to think she is amazing as she is pretty and has a hot boyfriend.

I'm actually with you on this. I've always been vaguely creeped out by her being such a grade-A cling-on. And I still think it was very weird that he did BB - maybe didn't find it quite as weird she got her bit of TV time, though.

I really liked Nikita ever since he first joined Strictly, but he lost some of his shine, for me, in CBB.
He didn't come across well, imo.

They gave me icky wannabe power couple influencer vibes in the lead-up to and early days of CBB, but I changed my mind by the end because I thought she came across as sweet and pretty reserved, not fame-whorey. Lately I'm side-eyeing them a little bit again, but I'm still giving the benefit of the doubt for now.

But I gotta say, I did raise an eyebrow at that fanart of themselves and their cats they reposted and commented on a few weeks ago. It set off desperate-for-attention alarm bells, and I just think in general it's very unwise for celebs, especially such minor ones to engage with that kind of fan content. I'm also a bit at her posing for photos with fans at the Layton and Nikita show, but at the same time, what's she supposed to do if someone asks? Tell them to piss off? That sort of thing seems expected now with social media culture. The barrier between fans and celebs is so thin it's practically transparent these days and I find it very uncomfortable.

I can't put my finger on any specific thing, but I can't shake a looming sense of dread that Nikita's going to wind up disappointing me, possibly in the form of morphing into AJ, so I'm on a gradual journey of unstanning. I definitely haven't looked at him the same since he did CBB. I mostly thought he came across boring and a bit insecure rather than attention-seeking though.

I doubt Nikita and the current GF will last, particularly if he has another long run on Strictly this year. Sounds like a bit of a clout chaser.

I still wish he hadn't done CBB since that show's just tacky and he didn't need the exposure, but a long, long way to go before he becomes like AJ.

I think Nikita and Lauren were just being polite to the fan artist. I actually thought it was a nice effort.
