FWIW most (all?) of Artem's DWTS partners have had only good things to say about him. Can't remember who, but someone who was partnered with Gleb but had Artem on switch up week said that he had a much kinder and more relaxed teaching style than Gleb.

Well this is exactly what Gio's defenders say. I just don't like calling her a liar about this, just because she was a bit mean to Nikita.

I'm glad her and Nikita made up though (even if he did nearly kill her!)

Yeah but there've been rumours about nearly all of Gio's partners hating him, even Rose. Artem's had like 1 and a half complaints in 14 years? Also it's ridiculous to compare Amanda to Fern in terms of the pro's expectations of work ethic and results. Amanda was a borderline ringer, Fern a duffer.

She's literally shown herself to be a twister of the truth, (all her simpering 'ooh, I seem to have done something to upset Nikita, oh dear it seems he's angry with me' tit when she tried to start a fight and he was just confused) so I'm quite comfortable calling her one.

FWIW I also think Amanda is probably a pain to work with too, it's not like she has a good reputation. If she was the only one complaining about him I would think she was lying.

Nikita is a very tactile person and is often seen hugging and cuddling up to people. I’ve noticed Fern cuddled up with David and Bradley in her role as ‘house mother’ but never Nikita.

I really liked Fern before this and had her down as a potential winner but I think she is extremely manipulative and the expert in victimising herself and playing the martyr. I do think she is insecure about her age and is projecting a load of stuff onto Nikita as he is the one who sees past her mask and has remained a bit more guarded around her. As she hasn’t fooled him in her head he is her enemy.

In all honesty I had to step back a bit as Fern was triggering me and reminding so much of my abusive covert narcissist mother. Incidentally my mother is as dangerous in her 60’s as she was in her 20’s. I know lots of people felt that Ekin-Su was a narcissist but doesn’t the below sound very much like Fern?

Started watching CBB for our Nikita but got side-tracked firstly by the Christian Horner Pinky/ Winky saga and then by a bout Sepsis 🤒 😳 (do not recommend either)
Don’t think I’ll bother catching up with the recordings as it sounds like my fever dreams were more entertaining 🥵 Interesting to hear about Fern though, no Philth Schofield fan by any means, but she gave me bad vibes after leaving This Morning tbh.

Defo not watching FR and Anton’s new show, the trailer of him singing Viva Espana is enough to make me want to turn the tv off. Surely there must be a better pairing than them to put on that show?

Now I need to go back and catch up on the end of the last thread and this one. I did try keeping up with the threads but to be honest my conscious mind was at best only level with Booby Brazier’s whilst poorly, so I am not sure how much I actually read 🤓
 
Just seen the full clip of the attempted hitjob, why is no one talking about how hilarious him telling Big Brother off with the ferocity of an angry puppy was. Iconic. 😂

It was a dumb as duck idea for a task, especially letting 3 women wind up on 1 team against all men. The Fern thing was an accident that couldn't really be helped - thank god, before I saw it I was fully thinking he tackled her 😂 He should have been more careful with Marisha, though, the idiot. He's lucky that didn't end up going worse. But it's not surprising. I've noticed athletic people seem literally incapable of wrapping their heads around the idea that not everyone is as strong as they are. I have roughly the equivalent strength of an overcooked noodle and every time I encounter one, they are briefly bamboozled, then make up their minds I must only be pretending to be so weak as some sort of joke.

Anyway, I don't like Fern for her crappy fake nice behaviour earlier, but some people on Twitter are going too far accusing her of staging it or milking it to try to get Nikita in trouble or something. She agreed it was an accident, had a little lie down and said she was fine. She handled it fine, chill out.
 
You could tell Nikita was absolutely bricking it when Fern got flattened. He showed himself to be a good person, and weirdly it helped smooth things over between them. Imagine if she’d been seriously injured!
I caught the start of the after show and Eddie saying SCD pros always know where then cameras are was interesting. His impression of their ‘money face’ was funny yoo

It was a great show last night, Eddie was hilarious. I could see AJ attempting to stay neutral when Eddie was saying that, as I suspect she wanted to say loads!

Fern had a claw clip in as well so I know that knock to her head felt 10x worse because of that 😭 I felt bad but it was so funny
 
I wonder when the returning pros will be announced? Apart from last year when it was slightly later it’s usually always towards the end of March so hopefully we hear something soon. I do think Gio will be back for one more series of damage control before leaving.
 
Poor Nikita trying to understand asexuality 😭 WTF is Bradley on about?! Asexual & Aromantic are sort of opposites. Asexual people don’t feel the need/urge/lust to have sex (on a scale). But they do feel romantic feelings & fall in love. Aromantic people don’t feel romantic feelings or fall in love. But they do feel sexual attraction!

The comments are so gross. Why would anyone, especially a middle-aged woman, go up against a ‘hot’ male?
I’m positive that Ranvir, for example, will never say anything as she would be torn apart.

How do Strictly solve a problem like Gio? I think because of his close relationship with Anton and that they don’t want to taint the strictly happy family image, the BBC hope it will go away , especially as it appears the majority of viewers for some reason are backing Gio, without even thinking that possibly he can bit of a bully. The fact he refuses to amend his way of teaching on a 1-2-1 basis, is a bully mentality. A decent teacher would amend their teaching for someone on a 1-2-1 basis so that they get the best out of them. What I don’t understand if there is no evidence what so ever of Gio being unreasonable in the training footage, why don’t they release it. It makes me think if they haven’t released it there is something in the footage and they are concerned it could open a whole can of worms.

The biggest headache that Strictly might have is, if they partner Gio again with someone who he clashes with - then it could be as Craig would say a disaster darling. Not just for Gio but for Strictly. Guilty by association and all that.

The one problem that Gio has is how employable is he once he finishes strictly - ideal for reality circuit, beyond that who knows.
