Nikita hasn't done anything bad on BB. People have made an issue of him nominating Fern when that's literally the point of the show, he has to pick someone and if they haven't clicked she's an easy choice for him.

It just shows how risky it is going on a show like BB, he's been quite bland and inoffensive, the other housemates speak highly of him, and he has a very sweet friendship with the other young men, yet people are still finding fault with him, accusing him of being rude and ageist. You can go on a show like this and get involved in no drama and still look bad

I think he's had a positive response overall though, and done nothing to jeopardise his job on Strictly which is probably the most important thing.

I think I had held him to too high a standard and now he has just disappointed me. I think I thought he was a different person. I don't hate him, that would be ludacris, but I feel sorta indifferent to him now and some of how he has been shown to behave feels inauthentic. He shouldn't have gone on the show because it does feel like he is being very careful and that's actually quite off putting to watch for me.

Plus Layton really pissed me off with his message to that woman and I know I shouldn't really be blaming Nikita for that but to me they are both so synonymous with each other it just reflects badly on him too. And the whole pretending his girlfriend was his friend thing was odd at the start... but that also may not have had anything to do with him

David is brilliant, I would be happy for him to win but can’t see it unfortunately.

I think he's got a good chance. I don't think the bookies odds are right at all personally. He's a warm person and despite the weird pants thing and loudness I think he's actually pretty real!

I think Nikita will probably be safe but I'm not completely confident. He still hasn't gotten all that much screentime and lots of people on Twitter who weren't already fans think he's boring and adds nothing to the show. The other three have all contributed some more drama. And more substance. Apart from talking about Ukraine for about 1 minute, he hasn't really said anything (or they haven't showed anything) deep or personal.

I guess it'll depend on how many people are impressed by him volunteering for nomination, and how many think it was phoney/gameplaying/arrogant etc.

He obviously went in with a plan of just keeping his head down, not getting involved in drama and flying under the radar to the end, but he's holding back so much it does look a bit spineless at times when he won't express an opinion. Still, compared to Ekin Su's histrionic behaviour and weird uncle Gary, he's been quite inoffensive and I hope doing the show brings positive things for him.

I was all for him going on it and having fun, I didn't get why people were so up in arms at him doing it cause I just thought he's a young guy and he wants to make hay while the sun shines but now I really don't get why he did it

I was so glad Gary went immediately and I had to stop watching for a while while Ekin was still in. She genuinely freaked me out, I don't know how either of them passed the psych evaluations because to me as vile as they were they are also extremely vulnerable people too.

I don't think CBB will do anything positive for Nikita, I think the best he can hope for is that we forget about it by the time the next season of Strictly starts.

And if I was for some reason watching the show without knowing who he was before, I would hate him. I'd have gotten the ick immediately from his intro clip, going on about being flirty and sexy and fiery, and nothing they've shown so far would have budged me from the first impression of brainless, vapid tryhard and with no personality beyond being pretty. Well, hate's too strong. I'd have hated him at first, thinking 'ugh, a typical arrogant, dumb playboy type', then when he didn't do anything crappy I'd have had to concede that he wasn't actually a douchebag even though he has the look, but I'd be one of the casual viewers saying 'what's he there for, he's beige wallpaper' if I didn't already like him.

Regardless of the bookie's odds, I don't think he has much chance of winning. Not unless the production wants him to and gives him a winner's edit in the final week, assuming he survives today's eviction. I can't see that happening. They've pulled every string to get Louis to the final. Not that that necessarily means they want him to win, but I think Nikita would have had a better edit by now (assuming the footage for a better edit even exists) if they had any interest in him.

I don't think Louis is actually interesting, he's just got the most screentime because he's the biggest name, and nothing to lose from showing his true hole personality because he's gonna die soon, nothing more. I wouldn't mind David or ZeZe winning. Or Colson. I've gone off Bradley a bit from last episode. I thought the way he was sucking up to and crawling all over Nikita over volunteering for the KN was a bit annoying and possibly a bit of an act, which worked because he's not nominated and Marisha is. I thought Nikita was starting to look slightly fed up with him too.

I think in a few weeks we will have forgotten about BB completely. And the general public certainly will. Because the show just isn't having the breakthrough into society it used to have. People aren't really talking about it at work etc. And even those on social who are, they will quickly move on and forget about it. So Nikita will cash his cheque and then we will all forget this ever happened. And I can go back to drooling over him on Saturday nights.

I’m not sure he has held himself back as much as we think. I just don’t think we have seen it in the programme. He is clearly very popular in the house which I don’t think he would be if he was just the person we are being shown. As much as I don’t want to blame the editing (nobody could edit Ekin-Su into the manipulative histrionic behaviour she was showing) I just don’t think he has done enough that the editors view as interesting. He actively avoids drama, which is what most people watching want to see, and he isn’t an extrovert character like David. I don’t think him doing this was a great idea and whilst I am a bit disappointed to not see the witty funny side of him that we know is there I certainly don’t think he is ageist or a game player. I think he is probably a bit overwhelmed by it all and appears bland in comparison to some of the others. I do wonder how they will edit the confrontation between him and Fern that happened late last night. I saw a moment later when he was talking to Zeze about how it’s so intense in there that they are getting upset over silly things and almost laughing at himself. I wonder whether they will show that or try to make him look unreasonable to Fern.

I suspect Nikita is far more opinionated in real life. He’s closeness with Layton would suggest he’s no wallflower. But he’s far more careful & that will almost certainly be in large part due to his BBC contract & career hinging on Strictly. His Strictly contract could be pulled at any time. Any scandal from BB involving him & he’s done for. There’s every chance the Strictly bosses warned him & set expectations before agreeing he could go on the show!

Same with the whole name tag issue, i’m not really sure what Nikita was expected to do about his girlfriend being handed the wrong tag? It’s already been cleared up and is a non issue.

Yes he’s been a bit boring but not everyone wants to be arguing and fighting with other housemates 24/7, feel like there’s a lot of people clutching at straws when the reality is he’s obviously just not a confrontational person His appearance on the show is not going to catapult him into a list stardom but it’s also done him zero harm and he has definitely gained new fans from it, as well as a decent pay check.

He hasn't expressed any kind of opinion, to the point of simply walking out of conversations if anyone tries to ask him for one. He was straight-up rude to Marisha, just ignoring her when she was looking for reassurance after Ekin-Su had her narc meltdown. (Though, he seemed very upset and stressed that whole day and I don't think he was acting. I wonder if something else might have happened that we haven't seen?) The only time he's come close to getting off the fence was in the podcast task when he agreed that cancel culture was a societal problem, and then two minutes later he's panicking over getting cancelled.

Yes, I can't understand why he's done it either. Honestly I think Strictly oughtta mind its own damn business about what the pros do in their own time. So long as it's not illegal or bigoted why should they give a tit? Why should he have to be some perfect child-friendly role model on a show that children shouldn't even be watching? I hope he's been well-paid for it, it must be a stressful experience.
