And Ekin-boohoo was making a play for Nikita in the first hour of CBB (slim pickings since the only other young straight guy was Colson but still) I'm sure she'd love a crack at Gio.

They could these 2 with Jack the Ripper and they'd still turn up.

But I have to say, I'd be finished with the show if either of these 2 turned up.

Strictly hasn't went down the Love Island route. Hopefully stays that way and any excuse to post this.

It's funny the way Rose/Gio supporters tried to spin it as a joke and he knew she was filming. The way Kai freezes doesn't really support it. Also why would she have deleted it if it was a joke? They jokingly insulted each other plenty, I don't think she'd have deleted it if it was some planned bit.

I never really bought Rose and Gio too much, though I didn't really think there were major problems between them at the time either. I really liked him with Debbie though, and I thought they seemed to have a really good, genuine connection. I'd be fascinated to know if there was any trouble behind the scenes there too.

I remember someone on DS in the Amanda sues Giovanni thread saying that she'd happily have Gio as a pro because she's 'not afraid of hard work' like Amanda. What a shame there's no way to arrange that and see if she changes her mind. 😂

Yeah it was clear from Kai's 'oh tit!' face that they didn't know Rose and AJ were there. I presume afterwards he apologised and said he was referring to someone else.
And if it was a joke why when Rose shouted out didn't he laugh and joke with her instead of looking daggers?
He's clearly got a nasty temper.

Ok, Daddy Jeff and PR Stepmum, enough is enough I beg you. Nobody thinks Booby is going to be the 'new Harry Styles' or that he is a triple threat (unless you mean, benignly dim, a wooden actor, and obsessed with tits)

After Jade and Will I’m always amazed when still competing athletes are on Strictly. they have their own training schedules and regimes and know their bodies and what works for them and they aren’t going to risk a medal just to go another week. You could virtually see Jodie switch off when his stump started to have issues.

😳😳😳 I quite like Jake!!!

Me and the old dear went to see Hair the musical and he was in it. Jake came and sat on my mum's knee and at the end the other actor took her up on the stage (it's one of those musicals where the audience participates at the end) she tells everyone she's been on the stage of the Glasgow King's. She couldn't do that now - not unless they put a wheelchair ramp onto the stage.

As an aside, I thought Hair was very good - it's a bit mental - 60s vibe and all that. But the songs are good and it's definitely aged better than Cats!!! Where you sit the entire night waiting for Memory.

If they're going for desperados, Jake would be a good fit. And can you imagine him and Gio eyeballing each other 🤣🤣🤣

I saw her say she'd be interested and she did an event with Johannes but she was a professional dancer before Love Island so I think its taking the piss to have her do it. She seems really lovely though so I wouldn't mind her doing a segment on it takes two or something like the podcast joe sugg does
 
I've just seen on DS that Tristan is doing I'm a Celeb Australia.

Just as I was thinking lol nope, no way in hell I'm subjecting myself to that, Celebrity Big Brother for Nikita was bad enough, I see on my stories another celeb I like is doing it too. A guy I like from Masterchef. He also happens to be a friend of one of my favourite pros from DWTS. Frankie Muniz is doing it too, and I liked him on his season on DWTS. Three varyingly tenuous links to DWTS/Strictly might be just enough to compel me to have a look at the Z listers eating cockroaches show for the first time.

I don't like what's happening to me.

I thought Layton's technique and footwork did massively improve but to the average viewer he was brilliant from the start, because he did 4 backflips in week two. As much as people witch about this, they would witch more if they really got what they claim to want and had all untrained dancers. Zara, Nikita, Adam all had no dance experience, and were slowly getting a little better. The audience didn't give a tit, didn't vote for them. Most people don't really want to see a complete non-dancer go from awful to ok. Or at least, not a whole cast of them. Imagine a whole cast of Dan Walkers. Most of those who proclaim to think ringers aren't in the spirit of Strictly wouldn't watch that, they just don't want to admit it.

I think it depends on the level of the non-ringer. I like people with no dance training who turn out to be naturals (e.g. AJ Odudu) or the types who go from average to good. People like Zara went from bad to average which isn’t particularly enticing for me as a voter, particularly as she didn’t offer comedy like other contestants of that level like Krishnan or Ed Balls. Nikita Kanda was always bad.

I looked her up and it doesn’t look like she was trained in Latin or ballroom so she’s the same as Layton (actually it seems with a lot less experience). So no reason why she couldn’t do Strictly.

I agree. Nikita (Kanda) was lovely and she and Gorka seemed to enjoy themselves but she was never really going to improve much. Zara got by, mostly by Graz lifting her a lot. Adam was definitely improving imo, and that was enjoyable to see.

But a group all of that ability especially Nikita, Zara and of course Les 😁 wouldn't really keep viewers glued week in, week out.

I honestly would not have enjoyed the last series half as much, without Layton and Nikita (Kuzmin) 😁

She'd be a good ringer though! She's gorgeous and can really dance so would a good guaranteed enjoyable performance every week! We need a few of those, especially in the early days 😅
