I think if Shirley was replaced, it would improve the panel straightaway. She is knowledgeable, I am sure, but altogether too spiteful and basically unprofessional, to be a judge, never mind head judge. 🙄

Oti would be a good judge, imo, she is quite tough at times on Dancing on Ice but never mean in her comments. Won't happen, I know.

Same here. I just don't trust her to be impartial. Which is unforgiveable in a judge. As for her having the casting vote - that should be scrapped - it was a stupid rule to start with (I've no idea if that was relevant last night).
Every year I think surely she'll be better this time. No leering at certain young men, no vindictiveness, no favourites, no long explanations of tedious technicalities literally nobody cares about to justify her partiality, no wildly erratic scoring - but she actually gets worse. Worst judge ever. And I include Donny Osmond in that.

I would say so, I can only speak for myself but I thought she was fair and brought something different to the panel. Then again, the judges were a lot better when it was Craig, Darcy, Len and Bruno. There was no CC sob stories, the whole show felt less manufactured. It’s become dangerously x-factor like now. I actually rate Motsi as a judge though, she’s fair and doesn’t play favourites and generally gives valid feedback, if in a weird exaggerated way!

Darcy got a bit of stick to start with as she ended almost every sentence with 'Okay yah?'. But she toned that down. She was always quite kind and encouraging from memory and wore amazing earrings 😂
 
We've got 2 ringers in this years show and for me neither of them have had a Wow dance.

I totally agreed with Craig tonight when he said there was no connection between Sarah and Vito. She's a great dancer buts it's really soulless. Same with Tasha. And it looks like Vito and Aljaz are going mental to try and cover up their partners lack of personality.

And I know I seem to moan about this every week - but the singers!!! Dear God the singers 😱😱😱

That's the thing... I just feel so very unmoved. She's technically perfect and yet I get more enjoyment watching other dances where the celebrity may not have every move practiced to perfection but I feel the joy of the dance, or some other emotion they're trying to convey. With Tasha I simply don't feel anything when I watch her. It's so sterile and bland, like you say.
 
I reckon Chris peaked quite early on, with hos dance to You'll Never Walk Alone. Since then they've been quite bland in my opinon. Not diminishing the effort him and Dianne put in.
I would rather see him get to final than Tasha, who I think is boring 😴.

well that is the most devastating Strictly news to wake up to. I was expecting it but it still breaks my heart.

Our beautiful Victorian Pasty boy. He deserved so much better from the judges, so much more kindness and support.

@Fillyjonk thought a sticking tongue in the middle of a sweet was a me, kind of post. I'd like to stick my tongue into Jamie's pretty arse to help make him feel better. 😂😂
