I'm sorry for all the Jamie fans. I don't have a favourite this year, but I thought his dance tonight was lovely and gave him a couple of votes. Pete must have some public vote to keep dodging the dance off. Shame for Montell again, she just doesn't have the public support.

I am really struggling with this series. Thank god it's going to be over in three weeks.

Miracle on 34th Street, Richard Attenborough version, hands down.

Agreed, but he's still so bloody 🥵 when he dances. Non dancing it's icksville.
 
I think anyone that’s pissed off at how rubbish the judges have been this season need to vote for Pete to win just to see their faces, Craig particularly. They’ve literally had favourites from the start this season and favoured certain celebs over others. Under and over scored time and time again.

thats not reverse psychology I promise ;) a vote for Pete is a vote for chaos!

I bleeping love TMCC. Not only is it the best Christmas film but hands down the best adaptation of A Christmas Carol out there. It's perfect, it's sublime and there is no greater performance than Michael Caine playing totally straight faced to a frog, a pig and some singing fruit.

I never used to think this, but I do feel the show is very contrived now. I don't lay this at the door of the judges per se as I expect they do whoever runs the shows bidding in terms of scores, etc. Does that make any of it okay? No.

Yea it's the reason I didn't enjoy watching X Factor. And probably the reason X Factor died a death.
 
Why do people think a Pete win would upset/shock the producers/judges? He has been given 8s, 9s and even a 10, plus he has an absolutely huge social media following. Isn’t he a pretty safe bet for the final?

I don't watch the judges comments, but from what I've read on here, he's Shitley's favourite?

Pete has been helped by the fact that there have been multiple ties every time he’s bottom of the leaderboard.

My guess is that next week or the week after will be tie-free and it’ll be when he goes. I think he’ll go next week, but if he does make the semi-final, I suspect the judges score + public vote will look something like this with him going out even with him being more popular than JB and Tasha:

Tasha 5 + 1 = 6
Sarah 4 + 4 = 8
JB 3 + 2 = 5
Chris 2 + 5 = 7
Pete 1 + 3 = 4

Jowita mentioned on his podcast that their AT is scheduled for semi-final week and I dislike that I’ll most likely be deprived of my favourite couple doing the AT for a second year in a row.
I was trying to remember who got eliminated in Musicals Week last year and then I remembered the literal crash that was the end of Nigel’s time on the show.

Yes Pete for me now too. Montel's days are numbered. I can't warm to Sarah. Tasha just doesn't move me. I like JB. I'm getting a bit fed up with the crashing predictability that Chris will win. Yes it's amazing what he has achieved being blind. But objectively he isn't that good. Shirley giving NO criticism but telling him it was almost perfect is crazy. He stomped around a lot. But people are scared to criticise him even slightly. It's making the whole show a bit of a boring farce tbh.
 
I do think it’s high time Shirley was put out to pasture. And she can take that gurning idiot Anton with her. Strictly is supposed to be showing how lovely and fluffy everything is after all the scandals this year, and this pair are not exactly on brand. Shirley is like a drunk aunt at a wedding flirting gruesomely with all the groom’s mates. Anton is just embarrassing with his feeble banter, like a compère from a 1970’s variety show. I find Motsi a bit useless too but at least she’s not normally mean.
Time to get some new blood on the judging panel (NOT AMY OR NEIL).

Keep Craig, bring back Darcey & Oti and add a new male judge or two.

If ITV keep Oti under contract, then I'd promote Katya.
