For me if there was an E&V situation with the non shutting down of the Elsbobs rumours, I think I would be put off E&V. It all feels a little press grabbing, trying too hard to stay relevant.
Edit - to add I did take a look at Ellie’s PR team - a fair few love islanders etc on the books. I’m not a fan of that style of PR.

If Ellie and Vito were together and didn't shut the rumours about Bobby I doubt it would be because they want the press attention, Ellie seems to have been very uncomfortable with it and there sources saying she was upset and Vito practically disappeared that week. If they are together I suspect Vito would be very keen to keep it private at all costs I got the impression the attention and especially post relationship press attention with his ex took a toll on Vito.

I'm sticking to my theory that they decided not to act on their attraction to one another. And maybe that's why they enjoying touching on stage it's safe place to indulge in that attraction without it going further.
If there is/was anything with Bobby it's just a bit of fun that got out of hand. Maybe the speculation killed whatever was going on.

- I don’t think Krishnan has clicked with Jowita like he did with Lauren. I don’t know whether it’s the repetitiveness of it all or if he is tired or something but at certain points he looked liked he would rather be anywhere but there. Still fun to watch though.
- Angela R legs are just a phenomenon & her and Kai are just a lovely couple. Aside from her illness she is absolutely loving this experience and Kai seems so gentlemanly towards her.
- I have a new girl crush on Karen she is absolutely stunning. I’ve always kind of overlooked her on the show but my god IRL she is stunning. Wouldn’t be surprised if she announced she was leaving though. I have a new found respect for Kev managing to bag Karen lol
- never been Bobby’s biggest fan and that hasn’t changed. He is very gangly and at some points awkward looking. He looked like he was pissed up doing the samba and dry humping Dianne at one point. There wasn’t much audience support for him either. Was evident at the end of his first dance he wasn’t winning.
- the boys what can I say. Absolutely amazing and made the night. Layton is quite the showman and at points it almost looked like Nikita was the celeb and Layton the pro. The chemistry between them as well is something else - almost like there is some unfinished business. Never thought it on the show but IMO these 2 are probably the best strictly couple that has been.
- Ellie and Vito I was really looking forward to seeing them and whilst they didn’t disappoint and were brilliant Ellie just isn’t Layton and was lacking that show performance (if that makes sense). They both know how to work a crowd though and Vito was just gorgeous. Im still 50/50 about the relationship though. They clearly have chemistry and are so comfortable with one another and there are moments you look at them and think there’s nothing more than friendship there other times there is something that you just can’t put your finger on. When they are calling their names at the end they both have their arms all over each other and I think he kissed her a few times. There were a few lingering looks as well and if they let go of one another to clap etc it’s almost like a mad scramble to hold one another again asap. There was a lot of arm caressing as well and I think his hand attracted around her hip and bum a few times as well. It’s all a bit strange. When waiting for the results as well they were very close together and she looked like she was having a good bum wiggle in the groin region!!
i totally believe the friends for life statement they put out but then on the flip side if it came to light that something was or did happen that wouldn’t surprise me either as like I’ve said there is something you just can’t put your finger on!

judging by all the fun that was had during the group dances I’d definitely say they have all built a lovely bond and there is probably a lot that goes on that isn’t privy to social media!!

On a side note Shirley is a bit grim - she was loving life dancing and swinging her skirt around and thank god for big knickers under the skirt otherwise gash would of clearly been on display. She is also desperate for Vito - the way she clung on to him was a bit desperate granny

👏🏻👏🏻 Loved the show- best I’ve seen out of all the tours. This is exactly how I wanted to post about the show but failed 🤣
You’ve described it just how I thought, although E&V weren’t as touchy at Leeds but watched a few Manchester videos and know exactly what you mean.
My theory is, if there is an attraction or something is going on, they’ve parked it for the tour and simply taking it slow/keeping it private so when they do get to the opportunity to have that ‘physical touch’ so to speak on stage, they enjoy it!
I think given Vito’s past relationship with that Italian partner, I would imagine he would keep it private and I suspect Ellie is private with her love life.
Also, it’s not been a normal environment to get to know someone, all very intense, maybe they want to see what these feelings, if any actually are.

That's what would baffle me, though, keeping their alleged relationship private, but touching each other up every night on stage in front of thousands 😆

😂 true. Although people are still non the wiser are they to anything going on, just a load of people like me speculating 😂
 
I think if there is anything between Ellie and Vito they will keep it to themselves to see how things progress without the extra pressure from the public and press. I spent most of the series not seeing anything beyond friendship with them but then toward the end I saw a definite spark there in one of their interviews. I think the lack of response to all the press stuff about Bobby and with the ex doesn’t really mean anything other than not giving it attention it doesn’t deserve. I think I’d be more convinced of something happening with Vito than with Bobby but maybe that’s wishful thinking and hoping she’d have better taste 😂
 
I think the Bobby stuff, plus the fact they are rarely together, makes it clear E and V are just friends. Why they feel the need to feel each other up will probably never be explained. Maybe they talked about it and decided to be friends, or realised it wasn't a good idea, or he is secretly married to Helen Skelton (joke).
I'm glad that despite their social media weirdness of not liking/commenting on each other's grid posts since Xmas, Ellie put this pic on her story with hearts. Good to know they are fine.
(I presume Ellie is at home in Manc today as it's a day off. Let's see if Bobby is papped wandering round the Trafford Centre with The Scarf..)

Personally I thought Krishnan seemed to really enjoy himself and they got on well, but I bet it’s hard to build a strong relationship with someone you have only danced with for a couple of days before going on tour. I don’t think jowita’s bland at all, but she only moved to England what 4 years ago? English is Lauren’s first language and I believe she studied journalism at uni (could be wrong) so he’d be able to have more deep conversations with her I guess?

Bobby was really trying to appease the crowd last night in Manchester, but I think everyone knew it would be between Ellie and Vito for the win! I didn’t even vote as I thought, it’ll be one of them two, I’m not bothered who as love them both! Glad they both won two. Dianne’s speech about how her dad had to tell the news that she didn’t win and that a win in Manchester would make up for it felt strange. They all know the tour doesn’t really matter so stop begging for votes! Having seen them live, I think Ellie is better than Layton technically, but he is a brilliant performer and really captivates the crowd. The best dance for me was Angela and Carlos’ Argentine tango though, it’s brilliant!

They should keep it about the dancing don't bring up family to sway the Vote its not relevant and don't turn on the waterworks for no apparent reason either

Otherwise it becomes a competition on who's got the best sob story to gain votes.
If anything Angela r should have gained a lot of votes for what she went through.
 
Feel like I’m psychoanalysing Dianne but maybe she feels guilty about being on the tour whilst her dad is receiving treatment and feels if she won the tour glitterball it would make not being with her dad worthwhile. Not what I would do, but, everyone deals with personal issues differently.
 
I can’t help but wonder if this or 2024 is going to be diannes last and that’s why she has gotten herself so obsessed with getting the glitterball. Her and Joe are very family orientated and I saw a clip of Joe on TT saying how he wants his kids to be close in age to their cousins like he was which would suggest he would want to have a baby in the next couple of years (given that his sister has 2 kids)
 
Anyone know why Jake or Robbie have never made it further in strictly. There was a lady sitting near us last night who is absolutely in love with Jake 😂
