Surprised to see JB so high and Punam so low.Bookies' odds now@
To win;
11/10 Chris McCausland
7/2 Tasha Ghouri
10/1 JB Gill
12/1 Sarah Hadland
20/1 Wynne Evans
25/1 Shayne Ward
40/1 Jamie Borthwick
40/1 Sam Quek
50/1 Montell Douglas
60/1 Pete Wicks
66/1 Punam Krishan
200/1 Nick Knowles
200/1 Paul Merson
Chris is walking it. The only question is whether he can sustain everything. He looked knackered Friday/Saturday and this must be taking a huge amount out of him. (Also Tasha is not winning this, even if Chris pulls out).
I personally didn't like her Paso all that much, but that seems to be when she became a contender. Week 5.Was Ellie favourite to win at this stage last year? I can’t remember when it was that she really hit her stride
Had to make it about him and lift his top to show off his hips

She has quite a reserved and laid back attitude as well and is very humble, whereas Layton for example was a show off right from the beginning - I know people here will hate me saying that, I was a fan of him and Nikita but he did start with off with too much big energy in his dances until he took the judges feedback. A lot of the viewers don't seem to like confidence, look how many dance offs Maisie ended up in, it was ridiculous. Understated ringer describes Tasha perfectly and I think she could make it to the final without hitting a DO.I’m surprised by Tasha being so high, having said that, although she is a ringer, Aljaz is popular and as he isn’t the most inspiring choreographer, she coming across as an understated ringer if that makes sense?

Going by this I would definitely stick a tenner on Punam and Pete to make the final.Bookies' odds now@

I didn’t get the Bill Bailey hype either. I thought he had a few good dances but he wasn’t winner material to me. Also, he had previous ballroom dance experience (specifically ballroom) which flies under the radar! Female contestants with dance experience get absolutely slated whereas Bill got a free pass.I liked Maisie, and i wanted her or Hrvy to win. I really didn't get the Bill Bailey hype, and thought he was overrated.
I agree he wasn't that good but he was refreshing in that he tried his best but there were no sob stories, no bare feet, no 'it's changed my life!' etc so I didn't feel manipulated. Quite unusual during COVID really.I liked Maisie, and i wanted her or Hrvy to win. I really didn't get the Bill Bailey hype, and thought he was overrated.
Ellie was favourite from week 5 (both with bookies and polls). No, pretty sure it was Nigel relatively consistently (despite Shitley's attacks) until perhaps the two weeks before he pulled out. The paso he did in week 1 really drove a lot of it I think. I still watch it today!

If he did and won it, has there ever been a winner who didn't do the tour? I know it's not run by the BBC, blahdeblah, but your winner is certainly a main attraction.
I agree, Maisie, Alexandra Burke and Danny Mac are the ones I will never get over.I was looking this up the other day, in the early years of the tour celebs from a few series would take part, so it wasn't always the most recent winner on tour, but there has always been a winner. I never really believed the conspiracy theory that comes up every year that TPTB don't want anyone who isn't doing the tour to win, but they are lucky that the winner has always done it
Yes to these. I'm also still fuming that Stacey won when my queens Ashley and Faye were both right there. Maybe they split the vote too much.I agree, Maisie, Alexandra Burke and Danny Mac are the ones I will never get over.
I'm surprised at JB being so high on the list, as a potential winner. Nice guy, competent dancer but I don't know. Unless they are counting on the Amy factor as part of the appeal. I went and tidied my kitchen while they were on, on Saturday evening.
Just looking at the male celebrity line up, I'd see pretty much any of them hanging in longer than him. Apart from Paul, who I think will be gone this weekend. Jamie and Pete, I want to stay for ages yet. Not taking themselves seriously but working hard and enjoying the crack. I love Chris and I hope he has the stamina to continue for as long as it takes.
