Didn't Amanda end up having to go bankrupt over an unpaid tax bill? She must have been under a lot of pressure being in a fairly new relationship with that poor guy having such a devastating accident; add in money worries and being the breadwinner - I don't necessarily think she was in the best place to taking on such a massive task. I think the training and pushing from Gio completely overwhelmed her, and whilst no doubt he wasn't a nice guy over it all, she took the opportunity to get out and save face.

I think there are always two sides to every story, and right now we're only getting one. Somewhere in the middle lies the truth, no doubt. But the BBC have handled this appallingly badly and it should have been dealt with there and then.

The reason I’m a bit dubious about Pete signing up, is the fact it’s live TV and he has no filter and seems incapable of not swearing whenever he opens his mouth 😂. Plus let’s be honest he’s only everywhere now cos of Sam Thompson. I’m not fussed either way if he’s on or not but a definite plus point, like someone else has already mentioned, would be how much it would piss Fakey Quickenden off, who has been desperately begging to take part in SCD for years 😂

In the interview she said she was the 'official complaint'. So there are three of them but the others either chose not to go through lawyers or are just giving statements in support of her, I think.
So yeah, 3 of them must be evil, menopausal neurotics (+ Krishnan and the others deludedly supporting her + Carlos, Luba et al being friends with her).

TBH I would have found it harder to believe the idea that Amanda complained early on and the producers apologised about him but did nothing, if almost exactly the same thing hadn't apparently happened to Zara (and just imagine how much more desperate they were not to anger Giovanni than Graziano)

Well at least it’s Vito and not FR.
This could be the final nail in the coffin of my fantasy that she’s going to run off to Scotland with Hamza to open a puffin sanctuary.
 
I will NOT be fooled into shipping Jovito again! No! I love them both, but it's clear that there is nothing going on between them.

Probably a production distraction technique. Maybe Gilko shoved them out the door, gave them a tenner and said 'Go to Pret then have a nice chat outside! the pap's over there. 30 minutes then be back here for our West Side Story meets Cabaret mash-up rehearsal'

I got my hopes up last time, they will not trick me again! I’m still hoping for my 3 part series of Hamzita on a Safari in Africa, then bird spotting in Ardnamurchan and finally exploring wildlife in Poland. For now I’ll put up with Jovito’s set up lunch ‘dates’ !

Would love this to be true! Jowita and Vito are 2 of mu favourites.

I feel for Vito over the Graziano revelations. Hard when someone has been a good friend and no doubt showed his best side to Vito so that will be the person he’s lost. The old “angel in the street” personality.
