It’s extremely manipulative.
I wonder about his family. If he’s the golden child / spoilt mummy’s boy, they’re probably reinforcing his view that it’s a stitch up and all the BBC’s fault, that silly girl complaining because she can’t take a bit of kicking and spitting etc. 🙄 But I hope someone there is telling him some home truths, he needs to hear it.
The best thing Graziano could do IMO is face this thing head on - stop making excuses (he’s already admitted it after all), stop trying to make people feel sorry for him. Release a statement expressing genuine remorse for his actions, no excuses, a proper apology to Zara, and say he’s taking steps to address his issues and become a better person. But I’m not holding my breath on that one.

Apparently this “bombshell evidence” was only discovered just minutes before Amanda’s interview with Krishnan went live 🙄 Of course it was.

Who the duck knows, but my money's on Vincent. James or Brendan are the obvious guesses, but just because they're arseholes doesn't necessarily mean they're creeps. Vincent gives me massive slimy sleazy, vibes, and isn't he a serial cheater?

Then again that rebuttal someone mentioned a few pages back seemed to suggest it was Matthew Cutler?! Unless by 'not his type' they meant she wasn't attractive enough for any of the pros to harass?

Or it could be one of the one or two season pros no one gives a tit about, I guess.
 
For some reason I’m still in a Rose and Gio FB group that I never look at. But looked today to see and though a few said they were reconsidering after the interview I was almost shocked by the vitriol about Amanda. These women will do anything rather than confront the possibility that he’s an abuser or even a dick

Matthew Cutler is gay. Was married but it wasn’t a real marriage in that sense. I think.

Like others have said this is a typical manipulative tactic to make people feel sorry for him. I’m sure he is struggling but it is deserved, maybe if he wasn’t abusive towards his dance partner then he wouldn’t have ended up in this situation. That broken and devastated that he still makes sure this information gets leaked to the press 🙄

I saw someone say elsewhere this week that they'd had a group lesson with Matthew (didn't name him but gave obvious clues) and that he was very rough with them. That surprised me a lot, he seemed the soft-spoken type.
 
I know someone who works on the show .. I did say at the time that Amanda was behaving like an hole, and that Gio was also an hole (he was particularly bad with Richie Anderson). Entitled worlds collided, and caused this mess.

From my understanding the “sexual” element, is some horrible crass comment about her fiancés ability to “perform”. Saying all of this, he should have been pulled up years ago.
 
Mhm I had also read the sexual nature bullying was something to do with Amanda’s handicapped husband’s condition. Ugh.

would be curious to see the recorded footage.

for the dancing performances it’s easy for both of them to smile and put happy faces on. the reality tho….let’s see.

not sure if Gio is guilty or not but the fact he is handsome doesn’t mean he can’t be some sort of (sexual) predator.

some Italian men can have a tendency to be macho mama’s boys. add that to an inflated ego and it could be a toxic mix.

Exactly.
All that was required of him was do his job properly and professionally, and that included treating his partner with respect, like a civilised human being. I can't bear to think of her seeing the real him behind closed doors, and then having to go back out on Saturday nights, and play into the 'oh he is so lovely and we will be best friends forever' thing. I also wonder if she thought that others were enduring the same thing and were masking it in public too. My heart actually breaks for her.

Him hiding behind the statement about wanting to do well and how that may have affected his training regime (can't remember the exact words) also turns my stomach. I bet he wanted to do well with previous partners too, such as Kym and Judi. But did he heck try any of that on with them. Not a chance. Nor with Annabel.

I remember thinking that he was the perfect person to take over from JoJo to partner her, for the tour. Ugh. I really was taken in.
