Ok holding hands up, I was TeamGraz the other day. I'm allowed to be stunned and saddened, he was one of my faves. Awful behaviour towards Zara though some of his other partners have defended him. Guessing as he's gone further in the show over the years his need to win has over took his actions as a decent human.
JoJo had better not let me down, got my kinky boots tickets 🥴

I've got tickets too for his Leicester stint

Zara and Graziano were one of my favourite pairs last year and I totally believed they had wonderful supportive partnership and lovely friendship. I loved their Viennese Waltz, it was one of my favourite dances of the series, and it's so heartbreaking now to realise her breaking down in tears at the end of it wasn't because she was so proud and happy to have improved, but because she was relieved not have made any mistakes for him to be angry about. :(

James Jordan was very quick with the 'no smoke without fire' comments. I wasn't watching when he was on it. I wonder though if he will come to regret those comments. 🤔

(I HATE when people say 'no smoke without fire' because I know of a real life situation (which ended tragically) where there was plenty of smoke and no fire.)

It’s beggars belief if it’s someone other than Brendan and James, be mind blowing if all these “nice” pros prove to be awful yet the awful from day 1 pros get off Scott free
The only other one is Artem. Fern said something about being bruised I think? Might have got that wrong but it was along those lines. Perhaps she should have been listened to earlier?

People (not here) keep asking why she seemingly remained friends with him etc, but there seems to me a strong chance that he was the one pushing a friendship, that outside of the times he was abusing her was acting nice as pie to her, acting like besties etc. I could well imagine her being utterly confused about it all and sort of getting swept along with it. So much so that she was probably second guessing it all and wondering if she was over thinking it because he was so nice to her/everyone else the rest of the time

I feel so bad now for thinking that she was being a bit over clingy and gushy with the friends forever stuff. Especially when they did those Instagram reels of him teaching her some of the dances she hadn't got to do in the first couple of weeks after elimination. At the time I totally thought she was being pushy with carrying on the friendship for SM engagement and that he was just too nice to tell her to bugger off. Now knowing it was probably him who suggested it to manipulate her into not making a complaint... yikes.

Yikes, I’m a bit late to comment but WTF?!

I work in an industry where misogyny, abuse, sexism etc etc is an absolute day to day occurrence (not saying it’s right but it is what it is and I’m a tough old bird who can deal!)

That being said, we still have HR rules and Yanno, that little thing called….. THE LAW.

passive aggressive and misogynistic climate in the work place is frustratingly common, but actual verbal and physical abuse is unbelievably unacceptable. Always found gratz a bit sleazy etc so not shocked. If it comes out that Carlos or Kai are pricks, I will riot.

Really shocked by this all. I knew that dancing was very competitive but I naively thought that violence, threats, etc wouldn’t be used when training celebrities for a dance competition.
I’m a bit confused because the BBC said they were reviewing their footage and that’s how they caught Graz’s behaviour but someone must have known what he was doing before this?
I remember when Amanda left and people were slinging mud at her, calling her a Terf and that she was exaggerating things.

Such a shame this is what has happened. I honestly don’t know how this show can come back because when it does it’s going to feel so fake.

Yeah. Obviously I knew the shiny happy family stuff was exaggerated, but this has really lifted the curtain on how absolutely anything could be completely fake. Zara and Graz seemed one of the well matched pairs that resulted in a lasting friendship, so how can we really trust any of the others are actually what they claim?

Are Layton and Nikita really best friends for life, or did they just see an opportunity for a business partnership?

Are Ellie and Vito really close, or are they just looking for SM engagement from Ellito shippers?

I guess I believe JoJo and Annabel since she appeared as a guest at one of his shows, but who really knows? A few days ago I would have thought Zara's friendship with Graz and Giada was real since it had persisted this long after the show.

Whilst it's theoretically not fair to suspect the other pros, I know I'll have a hard time believing any pair this year are really getting on as well as they'll claim.

There's a difference between being a rude arrogant twat, and being abusive though. Doesn't mean they have anything to get off 'Scott free' with

So far it's been the 'nice guys', so I'd say it's likely another one of those. Kevin, Artem or Ian are probably ones that wouldn't surprise me. Gleb wasn't really around long enough, but you never know. Following the Italian theme, Vincent.

This has really has shown how easily people believe all the PR stuff that's put out in the media though.

Has to be Brendan, surely? Was a notoriously lousy teacher with no patience, yet stayed on for 15 years. If there aren't complaints surrounding him, I'd be shocked.

I’m wondering about Artem, after what Fern Britton said about her experiences on the show. NGL, I always thought he was an utter prick.

That said, given the dissonance of discovery that the seemingly nicest man on the show was horrifyingly abusive, I’m steeling myself for the revelation that Darren Bennett was regularly water boarding Gloria Hunniford 🤷‍♀️

Brendan’s longevity was surely solely a result of him winning series 1 and therefore being part of Strictly ‘lore’. He was possibly the worst teacher they’ve ever had on the show.

Thought oh Annabel is in safe hands for the tour. I bet Annabel didn't see the side that Zara saw. It's chilling actually to think about.

Whilst ‘vulnerable’ in the sense of being bereaved, I don’t think he’d have risked it with Annabel: she’s older with a much more established career and a very high-profile BBC role. If she’d spoken up people would listen. Plus on the tour there are always going to be people around (apart from maybe some pre-tour rehearsals, but for those he was just learning Johannes’s part, and Annabel already knew the dances, so there possibly weren’t many of those ).

He knew Zara was in a relatively weak position and he completely exploited it.

Ian is lovely, it won’t be him. But yes to Artem,

Fern said Artem kicked and shoved her and commented on her weight

DM saying they are struggling to sign up female celebs.
Also that re FR
The HR department has scrutinised recordings of the pair’s rehearsals but is apparently yet to find any evidence of behaviour by Giovanni, 33, that could be considered unacceptable. Insiders say they are ‘worried’ about telling Amanda they haven’t found a ‘smoking gun’.
They also face legal action from the Italian heart-throb, who claims his reputation has been damaged by the affair. Friends of his say that the BBC failed Giovanni by pairing him with a partner who had no psychological testing to assess her suitability to cope with the arduous rehearsal regime.
‘Well, that’s another mess,’ exclaimed one BBC employee.
Looks like he's going to get away with it. I guess they don't have tapes from earlier years :(
