AH repeated that again on This Morning whilst talking to Vanessa Feltz who also said she enjoyed her time with the “charming and extremely patient” Shimmy Jimmy.

I think most people who do Strictly have a fairly positive experience. Alison Hammond spoke about how great Aljaz was on this morning, but maybe people don’t want to take away from Zara and Amanda’s struggles and be seen as ‘silencing’ them. We know what the press are like.

Yeah exactly, many might feel uncomfortable in saying they had a fab time because they'll undoubtedly get leapt on for being insensitive and undermining the experiences of others.

In regards to Judi Love, I can well imagine he was a complete charmer with her. It was his comeback after 2 yrs on the bench and while I'm sure he was gunning to impress, he'd know full well he didn't have a contender on his hands with Judi.

The best he could hope for was some crowd pleasing routines (her twerking Samba went over well) but then that popularity boost only lasted a week before she hit the DO. He then tried for the sympathy vote with a maudlin Waltz in honour of dead relatives and buckets of fake as fuck tears... but Judi was never getting far.

I think he thought he might have had a contender with Zara and his frustrations built up and the mask slipped.

Also, does everyone remember the Kym stomach stroking incident in the Claudatorium? She looked as tense as hell. Weird then... even weirder now.

The reality is probably that there are far and away more people who had a positive experience than a negative one. That doesn’t take away from those negative experiences but it does mean that it’s not necessarily totally corrupt. Like been said, coming out now and going oh i had the best time ever just makes it sound like you’re suggesting there was something wrong with Zara and Amanda to not enjoy it/have such a shit time. Once they’ve dealt with this properly, that’s when they could probably use some good PR and some people remembering what a fun time they had 😅
 
The thing is dancing is such a joyous thing to do. Most people enjoy that side of it. It can’t have been bad for the majority. Lots, even if they were shit, loved the experience, the SCD bubble. In every workplace there are dicks. The BBC are at fault for not having robust processes and procedures in place. Wellbeing of the pros and celebs is an important part of the production.

I remember the stomach stroking, and I used to notice Graziano giving sly looks to Vito in the Clauditorium, when Vito was being excitable and using the crazy analogies etc. He'd be giving him a bit of an unimpressed look, as if to say "look at you, pulling off the puppyish schtick better than me", and then cover it up with a laugh.
I wondered at the time if Graziano was a bit jealous of Vito?

I actually think it’s quite sad that a well educated middle class young women seems to be basing her whole life around her boyfriend. She is on social media a lot more so not sure if she is trying to go down the influencer route. She clearly likes being ‘famous’. It would be nice to see her trying to famous for reasons other than having a hot famous boyfriend. Get some aspirations girl, you’ve bagged Nikita so you’re already winning!
