I really cannot stand Shirley, I miss Darcey so much. Tbh, get rid of Shirley, Motsi and Anton and just have Darcey and Craig, perfect.
Off topic and I'm sure you guys have discussed it before, but any ideas why Gio is refusing to hand over footage? Surely it can only be because it's incriminating and it makes him look worse by refusing?

Equally we know that men lie about abuse. If there was no clearcut video proof of Graziano's behaviour would he have held his hands up and admitted it.

I read that he was fully complying with the investigators.
How can we be sure which is the correct info?

I think it was early June I saw articles about him blocking it, something about how they need his authorisation because it's private footage that features him - not sure how that works though because would Graz have agreed to the (clearly abhorrent) video of him being shown if he could have just said no? It's all confusing tbh.

I could be wrong but it isn’t that Gio said no to the footage being handed over to Amanda’s legal team. So the BBC internal investigation can review but not As legal team? Think that’s why the papers mention the ombudsman. If it does go to the ombudsman and they investigate then would it be made public the findings?

Yes, I think that must be it because the footage presumably belongs to the BBC so I doubt he could block that. But I am guessing that he is objecting to it being handed over externally.

He was asked to film training. Why? And by whom?
Was it unusual for a Pro to be asked to film it?
If not, why this time?

Which suggests didn't ask nicely. Which suggests it made him disinclined to hand over the footage.
Or maybe even demanded he hand over the actual phone ( which would mean all his private and personal info would be acessible by Amanda and her team.)
I guess if it goes to court, the Judge can demand to see the film footage in the privacy of chambers.
The plot thickens more and more doesnt it.
It’s interesting as the request was done under a subject access request, I believe it was discussed on here at the time, although Amanda can technically request anything linked to her, because Gio is also in the footage, they would need his permission. The footage could well be owned by the BBC but they would still need Gio’s consent or redact anything in the footage containing G.

I think *if* he is innocent and he did feel she was unpleasant in her approach, you can see why you'd be like no fuck off. But at the same time, wouldn't you want to just say yes to clear your name? I know I would rather than stringing it all along into a big investigation.

I am almost certain (although there have been many twists and turns to the tale) that he claimed to be the one who asked to have the training filmed.
And then that was later discounted and it was said that it was Amanda who asked for the training to be filmed.

Interesting because that makes a big difference IMO, if HE asked it would suggest to me he's more likely innocent as he was willing to be filmed (therefore knew everything was above board) but suspected she'd complain because they weren't going on & wanted to cover himself, but if she asked, then it could be either way.

Yes, Amanda said first she asked for it, then the Mail trumpeted that he had asked for it as he didn't trust her/she was neurotic etc.
The Fail is now running the James J and Georgina stuff (which was shown on ITT!!)

Amanda and Gio both claim that they requested for all their rehearsals to be filmed (which should be happening anyway imo) aside from the usual segments they film for it takes two. Given the fact the internal BBC investigation is still ongoing I suspect there is nothing incriminating in this footage, but its a very small fragment of their rehearsals when Gio knew they were filming so obviously doesn't cover all of their rehearsals. I think the extra footage that Gio is blocking could be some personal recordings, as a lot of the couples will record themselves to monitor progress and watch back to see what parts they can improve ect. My guess is Amanda thinks there is evidence on these videos Gio recorded to monitor training and he's not handing the videos over, as I would assume he doesn't have to?

I have to throw my hands up and say I was willing to believe Zara much quicker than Amanda, I don't particularly like either of them but Amanda really rubs me up the wrong way. It may well be an internal bias of finding confident women off-putting (I'm female so I know I'm breaking girl code!) but I'm lying if I say I don't still doubt her. I can imagine Gio being an unpleasant trainer but I'm not sure if I believe to the extent of Graz, but I'd be the first to admit I was wrong if it is proven otherwise.
