So I have a stupid question: how do you vote at the live shows? is it via an app? and can you only vote for one person?

You vote via text. They give the voting numbers after the couples have done their first dance. Last night, we had 10 votes to use. They have increased the number of times that you can vote. On previous tours, I think that we could only vote either 6 or 8 times. You can use your votes for more than one couple.

I do think there will come a time where if they keep overlooking wheelchair users on the main series there'll be questions asked but not sure it will be this series. I think George who did the Christmas special more than proved he could do the main series or I think it take two's 'interest' in visual impairment is another avenue for this year.

Could George do a main series, though, or was the Xmas special a better compromise?

I wonder how many of the audience actually vote. I didn't and it was pretty obvious from conversations that around us nobody did, apart from one family who allowed the two kids a vote each. I'm sure that there are some obsessives who vote multiple times but I wonder if it is actually quite a small vote in the arenas.
 
I’ve never voted in the arenas I have to say, some around me have but I’ve always sat in a cheaper seat anyway so I wonder if those in the first few rows who are much more ardent fans are bigger voters.

I’ve partly never bothered voting as either I didn’t really need to (favs last year were Rose & Gio who were winning most shows anyway) or didn’t stand a chance (I really liked Lauren Steadman, she wasn’t beating Joe and Dianne in any shows)

Ah I remember the days when it was a telephone number and there was a co-ordinated effort by DS members, early shippers of Flavia and Matt Di Angelo to ring in every night from around the country to make sure their favourites won. I bet there were some big bills ran up then.

Lady L knows a bit too much about the hen party heckle vibe, bet she was there in the front row waving her knickers in the air heckling like a good 'un. Gio deserves nothing less. 😁

I love that she always writes about the show like she’s a Telegraph reviewer writing up the latest production at the Globe rather than an ageing lady attending a tour by a tv dance show’s Italian Stallion 😆

I notice she updated the Live Tour results thread with some results of the evening Manchester show he went to, and I had to laugh at her attending the arena tour just because she’d forensically examined his schedule and realised he’d probably go and see Jowita perform.
 
Just got an eleventh hour ticket to the final show of the tour. Will be interesting to see how everyone does for the last one.

I wonder if it will be an emotional show for some of them - the true end of their Strictly journey and likely the last time most of the couples will dance together (or in a couple of cases, ever see each other again).

I can't imagine Kai and Helen hanging out again, though I think the others will be various degrees of pally. Jowita and Hamza will exchange the odd text, and Tyler and Dianne a few more than that. I think the others will stay friends. It will be emotional!
My daily Vito content will disappear for a start, as he will probably go back to Italy till the pro tour starts :(

Checking up on the Belfast bound party goers, aka the Strictly cast.

Shirley taken into a room and searched thoroughly before her BA flight to Belfast. 😲

Poor Amy still suffering with her Crohn's, how she manages it while travelling must be exhausting. Really feel for her, what a debilitating condition. Get well soon Amy.

Will absolutely 'lovin' Belfast', he really is enjoying this tour.

A couple of young dancers, Jack and Isla giving the audience an unexpected show during the interval dancing on the sidelines to Harry Styles 'As it was'. Wow they were brilliant, probably the stand out performance of all that I have seen on-line from the tour. ;) Janette featured it on her stories, there is the full version around Insta. 🕺💃

The biggest love story in Strictly history are re-united. :sick: I get the vibe that Nadiya is a complete narcissist, always doing the filming and making her beau fawn around her like a fool. She wouldn't give him a second look if he had two left feet. 🥴

Dianne and Joe pictured together even though they themselves confirmed that they were still a couple. Ohhhh the relief of it all and thank goodness the press can run the non story that they started initially.

Roll on Belfast.
