The series itself was really good! that was a mad, outlier week. Luckily BBC week will never come round again.

The Line of Duty VW! the idea of staging a dance to a series notoriously about corruption, sex trafficking, police brutality etc! I'd also forgotten Will's 'hard man' look to camera at the end. Deliciously bad.

Personally, I think Strictly's jumped the shark. The shite costumes, the crap theming, the bad singing, the terrible choice of songs, the mawkish VTs, the overuse of 10s, the OTT pros, the way contestants act like they're going to be taken round the back and shot if they're in the bottom two... And I'm not really upset about it, as I know we have this thread to take the piss out of it.

I actually loved Ellie and JoJo’s casualty tango and feel very bad for forgetting it. I blame Jayde for this of course.

The singers were great on the pro tour last year too - I don't know her name, but the female singer absolutely nailed Into the Unknown, whereas whoever sang it on the show a couple of years ago most certainly did not

I think the singers on tour are the same as the ones on the show so maybe it's to do with the sound in the studio or the arenas.

I haven't been to see the show (it's not coming to Ireland) but from what I've seen on social media it seems to be better than the actual series was. Is it actually like that and if it is, why?
