It seems like everyone was getting 30 last night? Did everyone get the same kind of reaction? I wondered how eg Hamza was faring and whether the salsa was going down as well as on the TV show..

Aw, Vito's stories of them winning are so cute. Love how excited Carlos is for him.

Honestly I thought they were all much better than on TV! The removal of the pressure means they all seem to be enjoying it more and that made the dances more dynamic for me. Thought Hamza’s salsa was excellent yesterday, his movement is really fluid! And I thought Helen was much better than she was on the show!

Yes, I thought Helen was noticeably better than on the show - especially in the QS. Will was the real shock for me as I didn't rate him much on the show but thought he really handled the big arena like a pro. He seemed to have a really good rapport with the crowd and I was slightly surprised from the volume of the reaction that he didn't make the last two. The judge's marking and comments made zero sense most of the time. I think Anton gave everyone 10 for everything. Craig gave a 10 to Molly and Tyler's first dances (QS and Charleston) both of which contained very obvious mistakes. In fact, Molly's timing was off almost throughout her QS. Fleur was a worthy winner - I'm not really a fan of the Beyonce number but her samba is a difficult dance really well performed.

It's good to know everyone is doing well! I saw someone on DS who had been to the show say that Hamza's salsa doesn't have the same effect if you are not head-on, as it doesn't travel round the stage much so you have to rely on the screens..

What a bizarre story this is: someone overheard Tyler ask Neil and Kai in a bar ' Do you ship me and Molly? I’m going to ask her the question."' What adult would use that phrase about a real person they know? (rather than saying 'I really like Molly, I'm going to ask her out'). Watch this space for photos of them through the window of a Starbucks!

I still rated Hamza's samba and I was side on. I was relieved that they didn't use backing dancers, so the sight lines stayed clear. Quite a few of the numbers were, frankly, a bit of a chaotic muddle for viewers because of the shape of the main performing area. I felt Hamza's AS didn't work well with the other dancers around rather than behind he and Jowita for much of the dance. For me, some of the staging was very amateurish from that point of view.

Yeah I went to the show yesterday where Fleur and Vito won. I thought both of Hamza's dances went brilliantly tbh, I was really impressed with the fluidity of his movement especially for the salsa! Helen and Will both did really well too. Hamza, Fleur, Molly and Tyler all topped the leaderboard with 59.

Anton gave literally every dance a 10, and everyone here would be facepalming while listening to his comments. He couldn't even form a coherent sentence together..."I care...I don't care about the other dances...but I care about you...I really care.." Craig of course was making fun out of him, even Ellie and Nikita were taking the mick out of him by quoting what he said.

In the first dance (Tyler's Blackpool number) Dianne collapsed and fell midway while doing a cartwheel and I saw Anton and Shirley worried and whispering to each other, but they did ask her if she was okay after and it seemed as though she was fine.
I was laughing out loud during Mardy's performances, he really puts on a show thrusting and gyrating the whole way haha

I agree about the removal of pressure relative to the show, thought most danced better than on TV. Me and another couple next to us did vote for Hamza and it's a shame he hasn't won many shows.
I should say though there was one lady behind me going on about how invested she was with Hamzita's partnership and she really didn't like the whole Gio news and doesn't want to vote for Jowita...

But I thought Fleur's CC (and Samba) was really spectacular and made for the big arena like the O2. Her costume was absolutely sparkling! So I really am glad she won. Here's a video I took of Fleurito celebrating their win! ;)

That whole thing sounded like it was created by the 19 year old Twitter stans writing a fan fic 🤣

My experience of the arena is it either makes or breaks people- AJ Pritchard had no chat with the audience whatsoever (unlike Gio/Aljaz) and Ashley’s dances although technically great didn’t translate as well at all.

Last year Rhys really came out of his shell and was great with the crowd. Nikita and Vito seem to have it down well too. I can see Will really thriving in that environment with fun dances and less intensity than the show.

Yeah Nikita has his accent impressions, and Vito doing his dodgy lyrics etc. Hamza is much more reserved naturally.

So was she a Rose/Gio shipper in the wild, or just someone who doesn't like Gio and doesn't want Jowita to be with him?? I wonder if it will damage J a bit professionally..

Poor Amy: she has had a Crohns flare-up and looks awful on her stories.

Rhys was on ITT one night and he was a great guest.
So funny, saying jokingly how it was a shock to him to see Nancy dancing with someone else and so on. Came across as a really lovely guy.

I suppose the arena brings a different dynamic and some will shine whereas others will not cope well.
It must be a great feeling to take part in the live shows, having started from scratch - in dance terms - in most cases.

Sounds like a Hamza/Jowita shipper? There were definitely a few around (including on DS) and if you have set up a nice fantasy of J heading off to Ardnamurchan with Hamza and his animals then her off to Gola/footballer’s parties with Gio in his Cartier and double-breasted jackets is probably a bit of a shock 😆

Hope Amy is on the mend, it’s such a horrible condition.
