It does seem that Karen has a quite juvenile approach to relationships. Didn’t she get engaged to the last one pretty much as soon as she met him in person after meeting him on Instagram?

She doesn’t appear to have ever really been single. She married her first husband when she was very young, there was only a 3 year gap between her marriage to Kevin breaking down and her marrying the last bloke and she managed to fit a 2 year live in relationship in that time too!

Some people really don’t seem like they can be alone at all.

Agree and I think the way she has 'revealed' this relationship is also quite juvenile. She's a grown woman, she doesn't need to tell the world anything about her private life.

Anton was hosting a Christmas songs countdown show on Channel 5 a few days ago as well. Shirley, Anton & Craig have appeared, at various times, on different ITV quiz/gameshows

i wonder if it’s even longer than a year tbh. so few of them have actually spoken negatively about their experience (when it’s been obvious in some cases that they had a rubbish time) that i’ve always thought there has to be some kind of clause in that contract as to how they speak about the show indefinitely.

the most recent one i guess is john but even then he spoke much more about johannes than the show itself. i would love to know properly 🤣🧐
 
I think it may not necessarily be about the contract, but they do have to think longer term and coming out and slagging off Strictly isn't going to help their careers. Most of them I expect, do Strictly to boost their work in some way so doing a 'my strictly hell' tell all isn't going to endear them to other people within the industry, not because the industry probably doesn't know already what some people are like, but because it reveals behind the showbiz curtain.

I get the sense Amanda would love to with her 'u okay hun' baiting posts but surely she must have the sense (or a good agent) not to.

‘Slagged off’ is putting it a bit harshly. She made some pass-ag comments blaming a supposed ‘language barrier’ for her less than stellar stint on the show, but I don’t recall her outright slagging Graziano off.

Unless I’ve missed a raging rant from her, in which case could someone please link to it as I love a bit of tea!

Not necessarily. If it all comes down to hearsay and differing perspectives on events, the BBC is not going to oust one of their most recognisable faces from the show. Plus once Amanda withdrew there wasn’t much to ‘boot’ him from, bar the background Clauditorium appearances, a few guest-spot dances that weren’t already pre-recorded, and a bit of ITT fluff. Easier for the show just to let the series contract play out without drawing further attention to whatever ‘it’ was.

Whether Gio opts to take up a contact for the 2024 series/is offered a contract for the 2024 series remains to be seen, of course. He doesn’t seem to be hiding the fact that he doesn’t want to be there any more.
