Why not just make the most of the week at this stage, work your backside off and go into the final knowing that you gave it your best shot!

I always think Dianne plays up a kind of childish 'little old me' thing which was possibly one of the reasons she was partnered with Bobby. Despite the fact that she blamed some feedback from the judges last year on the height difference with her partner.🤷‍♀️

The judges seem to treat her that way too. There was a story of Shirley 'reprimanding' Bobby in Blackpool about the dance off. I am sure it was blown up to make a story. But if anyone needed to be told to get on with it, it was Dianne. Sobbing beside her much younger celebrity partner. I know, I know, personal stuff and so on, but ... get on with the day job, and get off social media.

Posting leading questions like that which are throwing digs at other competitors is not cool - I hope it backfires bigtime on her. Bobby doesn't give a damn whether or not he wins and they are the weakest partnership in the final.
 
Oh god Dianne. Someone take her bloody phone away from her. It genuinely looks terrible on her to be back handedly slagging of her fellow finalists. There is no way Vito or Nikita will be anything but gracious towards other finalists. Diane’s going around looking like a complete idiot & very sore loser. Read the room, show some damn respect to your fellow dancers. There was something in the papers about a couple pros having issues with Laytons advantage. You brush it off as press nonsense but frankly, Dianne is showing her true colours by turning on her friends/fellow pros in her desperation to win.

It's only her 2nd final in 7 years after various partner types and realistically the best and only other shot she has at winning hence the huge desperation.

Final Fever strikes a lot of Pro’s but none of them have ever felt the urge to compare and contrast disingenuously on social media. surely giving the other finalists head space is the worst thing you can do … if they are taking up,so much of your time, you’ve lost already. Concentrate on getting your partnership the best you can and let the chips fall where they may

Yeah, I think that might have something to do with it too. I don't want Bobby to win but at least the silver lining would be a) Dianne might leave to have a baby and b) Vito might get another contender next year.

Gotta say though, I think it's fucked up that a female pro has to leave the show to have a baby. I know it's down to how the contracts are done, but it shouldn't be. I wonder if it will change after this year though, because of Amy? They'd have to know it would be an extremely, extremely poor look to not ask her back next year, so it might open the door for others to be able to skip a year and come back too. Not that they even necessarily have to, plenty of DWTS pros have successfully timed their pregnancies so they don't have to miss a season.

I have no idea if Bobby can win - the polls show Ellie out in front but the audience is always bigger for the final and it's not inconceivable that his CC + maybe a Nice Ballroom and a good showdance could snatch it. Obv I hope not, for multiple reasons, not least I am agog at the expression we'll get on Di's face if they lose which will make Pissy Gorka look like Aljaz at his happiest

Yeah, it’s the complete lack of respect for the other couples as well as her own partner for me. The way she’s conducting herself is appalling

I genuinely think the battle for the glitterball is between bobby and ellie
Yes dianne has not gone about things the best way however...
Layton hasn't either not once has he put his hands up and been honest about the dance background and his obvious advantage instead he chooses to complain and moan about bullies which might not even be that.
Majority of comments just don't want him to win to keep it fair.

And won't even do the dances mainly ballroom properly with no consequence where others would

Not once have the others demanded more money to pay for therapy.

I have Dyslexia but I'm not going to reach out for assistance so someone can come to my home and proof read my tattle replies before i post them .

Not having a go at you by the way just that Dianne's chatting tit in a Facebook group not sitting an exam kind of thing, in the real world we have to just get on with it and definitely don't mean to offend when we get jumbled or miss a full stop etc.

Just to add though it's not her dyslexic brain making her act like an entitled beg that's probably come from being the SIL of Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes, it's rubbed off 😂

Apart from Maisie being in the CiN special, Ellie and her have a virtually identical CV (dance classes and child soap actor for years) but Ellie has the 'nice girl next door' vibe plus has the 'are they or aren't they?' romance/showmance thing, both of which are catnip to Strictly voters (see also Rose). But it is actually quite nice and refreshing that a young female ringer celeb is the most popular one for once

You're right, Maisie and Mollie didn't have either of those things, and Maisie especially got a huge amount of vitriol that I think stemmed from nasty snobbishness. Which is a shame because she's the most charismatic dancer out of the three

You must be seeing a different Layton to me. He has fully acknowledged his dance background … and he hasn’t ‘moaned’ about bullies. He has highlighted some of the rotten stuff but by and large it’s been other people taking it up on his behalf. I mean a Judge called it out. A Judge. For the first time in 21 series The treatment that some of the celebs get outwith the show was spoken about on the show. Surely that’s a clue that it’s not ‘just’ people who don’t want him to win.
He’s not the first ringer to be invited to take part and he won’t be the last. Anyone, pro, celeb or viewer who has a problem with that should take it up with the Booking Department, not the one who accepts the offer.
(And I maintain that Diane should not be going on those sites that have been called out and stoking fires).

Not sure what you mean about the ballroom dances - he does the choreography he is given. Unless you think he actually choreographs them as well.

I’m torn between wanting Ellie or Layton to win because they both represent the usually “unliked” on Strictly. Layton is the mega ringer not to mention he’s in a same sex couple, gay and a POC. Ellie meanwhile is the young, good from the start girl who as mentioned before, is usually also hated by the public for some reason.

Bobby meanwhile has the boy next door, young nice lad, dead mum (sorry) vibe that the audience always loves….which is interesting therefore that he’s been in the dance off twice

So you’re comparing people rightly calling out Dianne’s ridiculous behaviour with Layton ( AND Nikita and an actual judge ) expressing their righteous disgust at the racist, homophobic shite being flung at him because of his previous dance experience?
And Layton has acknowledged his dance experience. Frequently.
