But if she's on the beg for votes in such an unprofessional manner to begin with the least she can do is get someone to proof read it. Especially if she's gonna have a subtly dig at another contestant. I have mild dyslexia, it's no excuse when I am at work to make mistakes. I take extra caution. Dianne should do the same in this instance, or even better, she shouldn't be posting like this at all.

That is why I suggested asking someone else to proof read for her. It certainly wasn't meant as a criticism of anyone who has dyslexia. If she was diagnosed in school then she would/should have had learning support in class so there is absolutely no shame in asking for assistance.

Except she's not at home right now, she's in a hotel by herself who is she supposed to ask? Listen, I don't exactly think that what she's doing is a good look but she can't help her spelling and from what I can tell she's never asked people to proof read her posts before so why start now?

Er, just not do it at all?

(I say this as someone who cringes at the pointing of the voting number, phone hands and begging faces on the Saturday show)
 
I don't think pros should be allowed on public Facebook groups - they're meant to be viewer discussion spaces and having a participant in the competition there really changes the nature of it, especially when they're steering the conversation and harnessing votes. I'm not in that group but I wouldn't feel able to say what I really mean with a pro there.

Dianne staked out the atmosphere and now she's clearly mining for Never Danced Before™️ and lAyToN iS a PrUhFeShUnAl DaNcEr votes, knowing that a lot of those people are particularly unpleasant. Anybody who says her part in this is innocent and okay behaviour for pro must be on the same drugs as Anton.

Yes. It’s more than a bit disingenuous … just interested 🤔

it must make it awkward to keep happy family illusion going. In the space of 2 weeks she‘s dissed all the male pro’s and is engaging with the sites that even a Judge felt compelled to call out.

i know she is going through awful personal stuff, but surely at some point there isn’t any more slack to cut?

She needs to be booted from this show. She isn't even just insulting Layton she's also having a dig at Ellie who is constantly told she is as clean as a whistle from the judges. It's just nasty, backhanded and unsportsmanlike.

She's so unprofessional at this point it's unreal. I get the impression the Pros on the whole know that at this stage the finalist pros can go a bit loopy but they give them grace knowing the will soon be back to normal once the Glitter Ball has been lifted.
But it's only Tuesday what is she going to be like by Saturday she's in serious danger of alienating Vito and Nikita if she gets any worse.

Even the silly little dig about only acting 1 year compared to child actors Ellie and Layton is so damn petty especially since Bobby has been in the public eye since birth with two well known parents, he's hardly a fresh eyed youngster thrust suddenly into the limelight.
 
I've already said I don't think it's a good look and I'm sure that anyone who's a part of that group could reply to her and tell her they don't think it's a good idea. Don't think it would work, Dianne's going to do what's she going to do. As I said though, I don't think she's ever gotten someone to proof read her posts before so why start now?

Either that or James Jordan her … keep her and give her the ringeriest ringer who ever did ring and watch her forget all about ‘progression’.

Camilla spent the last week vibrating like a tuning fork, Kevin went officially loco, Gio spent the week playing with a big prop, even calm and placid Flavia got a bit twitchy eyed … but none of them had the time, effort or inclination to run round social media passive aggressive ‘just wondering’ about the other finalists and comparing CV’s.
 
I wonder if dianne is so desperate for a win so she can then step away from the show on a high note to focus on all sides of the family and potentially settling down with joe??
If she wins then it won't be such a big deal the next times.
It's only her 2nd final in 7 years after various partner types and realistically the best and only other shot she has at winning hence the huge desperation.

I think Ellie has a much less stage school vibe than either of those two (who were both great). And I think there's far more connection between her and Vito than there was between Maisie and Gorka who seemed to get on but were very different. But yes, Layton and Nigel were the uber-ringers this year.
