Ellie has always seemed to really love her Ballroom dances, her week 2 foxtrot is one of my favs of the series, it would be such a shame if she didn't get to do any in the final.
The pros and celebs get so little say now a days and it shows.

I’d love her to do her foxtrot, paso and a big band type showdance, but given Gilkison’s propensity for terrorism I’m bracing myself for shoeless wafting

God why in this day and age do we have to deal with this bullshit.

Particularly disappointing considering Juliet made a post a week ago saying the below.

Nothing has changed, if anything it’s got worse. If someone makes reference to his sexuality directly then they address it but as long as they don’t do that they can say what they want.

I just went on there and saw one post from a woman who states she is having a difficult time with her health at the moment and how much she loved watching Layton and Nikita do their Charleston. She is then quick to say that she doesn’t have anything against any of the other couples so don’t shoot her down in flames.

Another post saying ‘I hope Ellie doesn’t win’ and all the usual suspects are saying ‘Can you imagine the response if we said this about Layton’ all you do is criticise him and are refusing to watch the final or will never watch it again if he wins 🙄

It’s not free speech it’s bigotry that they think is acceptable as long as they don’t reference his sexuality or the colour of his skin, and quite frankly instead of defending their rights to free speech they should all be booted so they can set up their own group where they can spew their vile hatred at each other all day long.

Yes, I'd sacrifice her AS (which I love) for a big band showdance. I was listening to Louis Armstrong's Hello Dolly yesterday and thought how well that'd work for a showdance. Ellie would kill it.

Who is this Juliet? I have heard her mentioned here before.

So the admins are approving posts?? So why don't they simply regulate them?? It honestly feels like they want to let Layton be ripped to shreds....

Honestly guys, I'd just unfollow the page and refuse to contribute. It will all come to a grinding halt once it's just a total echo chamber.

I think she left another group where there was horrible drama to set up her own group where there is horrible drama. I think it’s even worse because she has met Laytons mum in person when she attended a live show. You’d think she would try a bit harder to moderate the awful comments knowing Laytons mum can see it all. I know it is her choice to be in there but I find all the comments upsetting, imagine how it must feel seeing all that about someone you love?

It sounds like this person is too caught up on engagement so doesn't want to censor posting for that reason. Thinking short term, not realising by letting the group go to pot like this it's just going to die off on it's own. She needs to pull her finger out and manage the page properly or shut it down.

I hope Laytons mum unfollows. She shouldn't have to read that tit.

I'm pissed off now about it all.

Exactly this! I was a bit🤬 when I heard about his dance experience etc and am sure I probably said as much here - I loved Nigel- kind of knew he wouldn’t win so was left in limbo- what to do with my 6 votes ( hubby has bbc account he knows nothing about🤣) Ellie is very nice- has she wowed me? no- Bobby is nice, Di annoys me- so that leaves one option- he was worked hard , he has more than performed every week- I have enjoyed the programme because of him- so layton will be getting all the votes at the weekend-
also the hate he gets is uncalled for- he deserves a bit of kindness imo
 
I always had the tendency to read the FB and IG comments - I would respond too, just to try and fight back at some of right nasty bastards, and show that support is there, but I haven't at all since before last weekend, and have felt much better for it.

I've blocked random pages that would show up on my feed, too, with deliberate tit-stirring headlines.

I'm actually enjoying the thought of them all stewing in their own bile.

Dianne is in there right now utilising her time well. Someone has posted saying they love Bobby but obviously he will be the next to go. Someon said there may be a shock if the public have anything to do with it. Up pops his professional - exactly i think bobby is the underdog and i’m here for it - of course and the old classic - of course he is he is the only one with no experience in dance.

I am sat on my hands trying not to respond telling her that maybe her time would be better spent teaching and training Bobby.

I don't know how she has the time!! Vito and Nikita are just getting on with it, sticking up a post and moving on.. They have three dances this week to prepare!

Exactly, I feel like she doesn’t have the confidence he will win on his dances so is trying to win votes like this instead of investing the time helping Bobby to develop. She is letting him down because all she can focus on is winning. It’s all about her not him.

Vito and Nikita want to win just as much but they are focussing on creating something worthy of a win that will showcase their partnership and the celebrities talent.
