I can’t believe I’m saying this but I wouldn’t be that upset if Bobby won (other than Dianne being insufferable). Whilst I don’t think he is as strong a dancer as the others I have seen a real growth and maturity in him. I think he would have developed more as a dancer with a stronger choreographer like Katya and not had to rely on his emotional CC and inappropriate social media use from his professional. I like Bobby and am glad he’s done well.

I will also be happy for Ellie is she wins. She seems like a genuinely nice girl who has found more self confidence through this competition. She has been consistently good. I just hope her show dance is more reflective of her than the random dress the young woman in a red pvc catsuit and get her to throw herself around bollocks she had on Saturday night. She is far better than that.

My heart and votes are with Layton but I know the odds are stacked against him. I think ultimately he will be the biggest winner from this series as his talent has been showcased perfectly by Nikita and I think he will go on to have the career his talent deserves.

I'm dearly hoping since the CC was well whatever it was means she will be allowed to do a proper dance for her showdance. Ellie has always seemed to really love her Ballroom dances, her week 2 foxtrot is one of my favs of the series, it would be such a shame if she didn't get to do any in the final.
The pros and celebs get so little say now a days and it shows.

There’s no getting away that Layton is an amazing dancer who has been gracious throughout, despite the hideous abuse he’s had to endure. Absolutely shocking. Whether we all agree/ disagree if he should be on the show or not, nobody deserves this treatment. He deserves the glitterball for holding his head high and dancing like a champ weekly. It’s also allowed Nikita to show us his amazing talent and choreography skills.

And I don't think it's a time heavy commitment. Is it 2 days per week for 12 weeks??? Doubt she'll get an easier role.

People have mumped and moaned about Layton the whole series and forget that until recently a judge was related to one of the dancers!!! Never understood how that passed thr fairness test.

She might want to continue her family and she does live in Germany so it's got to be difficult with a little one. It's only a thought.

When I joined the negativity towards him was apparent straight away. The complaints invariably seem to be about his dancing but the fact that they are so persistently negative about him yet had no issue with Nigel who is even more experienced than him suggests their issue with him is something else. I think Dianne joining there to post when she is a paid professional is wrong anyway but the fact that the first thing she did was point out that he has no previous experience suggests that she was aiming at pulling votes from the Layton haters. I don’t think she wants to increase hatred towards him but I do think she will exploit the bad feeling in her desperation to win.

Ive been shocked this weekend by the nasty posts in there that admin have allowed about Layton as 'everyones entitled to their they'. Its a free for all.
Dare criticise Bobby or Annabel though.....
One poster was even getting herself in a state over Lauren wearing flat shoes.

I'm sorry but the admin of that page needs to be pulled up on it. I don't go near Facebook and I deliberately avoid online cesspits but whoever is running that page has a duty of care to the contestants. I personally wouldn't follow that page or engage with any horrible posts but it annoys me that the admins have allowed those kinds of things to be posted.
Can you message the admins?? Report the posts??
 
As long as Gilkinson has any type of influence then Dianne will be there.she is one of his burn the floor dancers and I can't believe he has no say in hiring and firing

Ive reported posts and pointed out blatant homophobia to admin but told its just a difference of opinion. TBH I think I will leave before I get blocked

(absolutely no shade by the way)

I always liked Bobby Jack. I think he's done amazingly well. I've put in a little time in his defense 😁😜
