I’m not saying people don’t grieve when they’ve lost so young but it’s not the same is it. They feel sad for all the things they’ve not had but not the person. They didn’t know the person when they’ve lost at that age. I’m also not a fan of the emotional manipulation
I remember when my cousin made her confirmation we were all in her house and out of nowhere she just turned round and said "wouldn't it be great if my Dad was here for this" I feel like that's how it is for kids who lose someone when they're so young.

Do you know what? It pains me to say but I am OVERRR strictly, I am over the tit music choices, the singers who cannot sing the judges with their diabolical critiques and shocking scores, the manipulation of the audience of who to vote to be in the the dance offs, it's just turned into as bad as the X Factor was near the end. I don't sit down to watch any more with enjoyment!

In saying that, I'll still be back next week though as I'm a fuckin nosey twit who would be scared to miss out 🙄

I still don’t like Bobby but I thought the VT struck the right balance, he didn’t wax lyrical about her and instead themed it on how much he would love to have known her, with a good amount of focus on his Dad too.

No grief is ever the same, young and old, sudden or expected, but they are all just as valid and deep

This isn’t really fair, one of my friends lost their mother around the same age, it affects you no matter how old you were

yep. i think it’s also very different for bobby because he has so much access to jade (for want of better phrasing) - he can read and watch her interviews, see her talk, he can sadly literally watch the moment she finds out she’s been diagnosed with cancer. absolutely everything about her, mainly bad, is right out there for him to see. it’s such a unique scenario. not many people can literally read their mother’s death on back copies of ok magazine.
