This girl is around 21/22šŸ¤£

If itā€™s the one Iā€™m thinking of, sheā€™s going to about 6 of their tour dates so they better brace themselves for stage door.

Gioā€™s nanas are always commenting on how at meet and greet he ā€˜gives the best hugsā€™ and calls them darling and stuff and itā€™s a bit like, youā€™re paying Ā£120, of course he does.

I had a look at a few of Kai and Nadiya's tour dates and apart from the London ones, it doesn't seem to be selling too badly. Maybe they have higher costs they need to cover hence the panicked discounting - they seem to have been rehearsing for weeks, which is a bit weird. I personally don't get the appeal - nice but dull Strictly couple plus saccharine theming. Big nope

Also, I just cannot get my head around the thought process of starting a new relationship, and then immediately think 'yes, let's stage a nationwide tour based on this amazing love story!'. Like, were they not worried things might have fizzled out after a few months?
They should have done the pro tour, another season on strictly and then they might have a better chance of selling out a tour..They haven't a patch on the Gorka and Karen tour, that is unreal.

Funnily enough I saw someone on facebook say Kai & Nadiyaā€™s tour date in their area was almost completely sold out, while Karen & Gorkaā€™s still had over half of the tickets left. Itā€™s hard to completely sell out an entire tour, from what I remember even Oti struggled to do it and sheā€™s one of the most popular pros. I donā€™t understand why every pro feels the need to have their own tour, especially when they maybe arenā€™t as established as they will be a few years down the line.

I had a look at some of Karen and Gorka's sales a few weeks back and it was a bit mixed - nearly sold out in places like Manchester, Brighton, London etc, but a bit slower in smaller locations. Although they're touring again next year, so it must make enough profit. I think it's probably a tougher sell to maybe those who prefer the more traditional Strictly -type show with lots of chat (I'm guessing that's what Kai and Nadiya's show is)

Lots of chat about The Greatest Love Story Ever Told makes it even less appealing to me šŸ˜†

Nothing can ever sell as badly as Graziano and Giadaā€™s couple tour that was mercifully cancelled due to Covid- they had a huge number of dates in quite big theatres when heā€™d done about 3 weeks with Vick Hope and then been benched the following year. I donā€™t know what their promoter was smokingā€¦

To be fair, if it was a choice of Gingerland, AJ and Curtis do Ant and Dec or that ā€¦ Iā€™d be hotfooting it to their box office.

I can only assume that Strictly spin offs are seen as bankers for the more provincial theatres which is why they have so many in quick succession.

I suppose it's personal taste, I wouldn't go just because they are on strictly whereas some would and I prefer the latin style to the ballroom so Karen and Gorkas was more my thing than the "romance" of Nadiya and Kai's.

If these kind of things came to my local theatre in the Irish countryside Iā€™m sure theyā€™d be sold out regardless of who it was purely because its ā€œthose dancers off the big programme on the tellyā€.

Not saying theyā€™re all in small towns cause quite frankly Iā€™ve never heard of half of them but that the only reason I can think of as to why some of these tours sell better than we think they would?

I think that was the sad part- it looked like a cool show but maybe a show that would benefit from a bit of an ensemble of pros or at least a better known couple to get bums on seats.

Looking at FB, I regret to say that the double whammy of Gio and Jowita breaking up and Rose appearing in the BBC programme has brought the shippers out again. They will never give up! (I havenā€™t seen the doc but apparently body language experts declare he is obviously in love with her etc).
A few people appear convinced that Gio and J never actually dated or that it was just PR (in what universe is this good for Jowita to be pumped and dumped by the Fanny Rat?). Anyway, we can look forward to the no-doubt-imminent reveal of Gio and Roseā€™s love story. Maybe next year they can do a Kai/Nads tour?

Anton is sensible he does quite a small set of tour dates. Giovanni knows how to keep his key market happy.

Whoever dates Giovanni if she isnā€™t Rose she is always going receive mean social media comments from those shippers as only Rose is good enough for Giovanni and vice versa. But having said that neither Giovanni or Rose have ever done/said anything to stop those comments that appear on social media - so it obviously doesnā€™t bother them.

The best of it is, rose is not a patch on Jowita in any way looks wise. He will never go for her, sheā€™s not an ā€œ insta babeā€ which appears to be his niche.

Is anyone going to this tour tonight?

I saw someone say ā€œam i the only one who wonā€™t be happy until gio and rose get marriedā€ šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
