Reading that Shirley interview, it does sound like she's probably staying this year, and this is her putting it out there that the troll situation is taking it's toll and she might not stick around in the long term. It does sound horrendous

A lot of her scoring and obvious favouritism is so frustrating but I think she'd be difficult to replace - no doubt there are other qualified judges who would love the job, but she does have a lot of charisma and personality, and those genuine batshit moments (the shoes!). She is a bit of an eccentric, and it would be crap if she was replaced by someone dull
 
Apparently the Greatest Love Story of All Time also features Michael Jackson…

I'm not 100% sure on the judging situation on DWTS, I wouldn't put much stock in the American poster on DS that is insistent on it being 3 judges but so far - Carrie Ann, Bruno & Derek have all been confirmed to return and nobody new has been announced. Disney are having budget cuts so it wouldn't shock me if they stuck with 3. I don't think Shirley will be going there this year either way.

I'm not against her coming back but she should be denied a pay rise. That's non negotiable in my book. She's paid a disgusting amount of money which comes from licence fee payers in order for her to give critique on dances for 2 hours a week.

The only think i would really say is if it is the casting vote thing that is causing the most online nastiness then change that part. Just go to the public vote for the decider. Then no one judge has sent anyone home.

100% agree. The pros aren’t even on a quarter of what the judges are and they have more hours in a week than the judges do in a series.

One of them. I’m all for like what you like but I doubt he even knows her on a personal level other than having a chuckle with nadiya about the obsessed fan girls

DWTS press release confirmed they are only having 3 judges, along with the new co-host now that Tyra has finally called it a day 🙌🏼

Think DWTS called it a day for Tyra, not the other way around. Thanks for confirming that it's 3 judges, just a shame that those 3 are Carrie Ann, Bruno & Derek, no real rigorous judge there, Derek is a fake Mr Nice Guy type, not a patch on Len as far as critiquing goes. Alfonso & Julianne should make a good hosting duo though.

I get being a fan and with Strictly pros there are far more chances to meet and see them than say, Taylor Swift, but some of the emotional connections they claim to have make me roll my eyes massively, because however much they appreciate the fans, it all comes down to making money really.
 
I don't really get why people are so obsessed with meeting celebrities. I think some of the real hardcore SCD fans forget that the pro dancers are not their friends and don't view them as such regardless of how many selfies they might have taken. And they're all human and need their space like everyone else.

Feel particularly sorry for some of the male pros on events like Donaheys and tour Meet & Greets dealing with the LadyLav's of this world.

The meet and greets are bonkers. They seem to think that a pro being nice to them proves they are friends for ever and not that they’ve paid £100 or so quid for a few minutes in The Presence.
I think I could think of the money and smile.
 
I saw a video from a fan saying to kai that she loved him and essentially trying to flirt with other comments whilst nadiya was stood with him being photographed, he squeezed N’s side ( the infamous AJ squeeze) as the girl said it and nadiya looked like her smile was painted on. Regardless of being “ famous” it was still massively disrespectful and kudos to nadiya because If I were here, regardless of how secure I was, I would end up losing it at these strange, obsessive women making open passes in front of her.
