I didn't see the launch show but Shirley is still a great dancer, well beyond Motsi's league, despite the age difference - you can see why she was such a great champion. Anton still dances somewhat regularly so isl in decent dance shape. Craig hasn't danced professionally for years, was a musical theatre dancer in any event and I think his hip replacements make his movements a little restricted/stiff.

agreed re shirley. i don’t think the choreography helped her this time around, whereas she was amazing in the judges dance they did for motsi’s arrival. i feel bad judging craig because i think he just can’t dance the way he once used to.

I actually think they do have romantic chemistry, right from the start I thought there might be something going on. I think he adores her, whenever they’re on ITT he’s all over her and can’t keep his hands off her. And if she’s newly single I bet all his attention and positivity is very appealing/attractive. Either way they’re a great partnership.

Like, if I'm totally honest, I kind of sense it quite a bit from Nikita. Maybe even just a platonic crush, but I think he's totally dazzled by him.

I adore that it’s Nikita who is generally taking the lead on showing affection. There’s not an inch of uncomfortableness from him about the fact Layton is gay. More of this please, just because we fancy the same sex, doesn’t mean we fancy everybody! 🙈 As a ex-teacher, they remind me of two naughty kids at school, thick as thieves, chaos causing, always giggling but ultimately very endearing!
 
I know im in the minority on this but i actually think Ellie and Vito make a great friendship couple but for some reason i don't think they do totally suit in a romantic or sexual way
It's like if any couple give me much older big bro and very little sis vibes it's these two
I do want to see him love and protect her but purely in a kind platonic way 🤗

Yeah I don't see it in any kind of romantic way.... just like I don't see Nikita and Layton in any kind of romantic way either.... the only one that I think there is a possibility is Nigel and Katya but everyone else!?? Nope.

I say this as a BIG Nigel Harman fan so i think it's allowed .... If he was single him and Katya would be ON
he's a no messing about kind of guy irl, filthy kisser , very in control in the hottest kind of way, they would be dynamite together basically 🔥

I’m refusing to ship anyone on Strictly anymore ( that leads to the path to madness, no going back to that!). I get sibling vibes from Vito and Ellie and slight boyish crush but not going there from Layton and Nikita.

God, the horror if Katya and him had a fling and it became public! I think certain people have chemistry with everyone: Vito, Nikita, and Katya are in that category for me. Nikita would have chemistry with a house plant - remember people shipping him and Tilly? (not that there's anything wrong with Tilly..)

Pretty sure he’s never said. As far as I can see, his last two relationships have been women but I never draw a conclusion as my last two relationships have been men & I’m very bisexual 😂 I’m not a shipper, even less so Strictly as it’s a weird environment but I do enjoy genuine partnerships on Strictly, 99% of the platonic variety. I confess my sins of loving Joe & Dianne back in the day 🙈 It was so blatantly obvious she was staying over at his flat from his vlogs that I broke my rules a bit! I thought it was really sweet at the time.. I’m less enthused these days 😂
