Karen was definitely not tuned in at all this year, until she was eliminated. And I feel that Eddie could have had a better experience partnered with someone else.

As regards Gorka, I am sure he knew he had a non-dancer on his hands, but he made it a good experience for her, imo. And I'm not particularly a fan of his. But their performances always made me smile because they were upbeat and looked like they were enjoying themselves.

In no particular order 😁 I would like Lauren and Luba to have partners again next year. And Katya and Nancy.
Also Nikita, Vito, Graziano and Carlos.

Same. I hate change. The only one I wouldn't be super sad to see leave at this point is Karen, as she does seem to have been phoning it in this year, and I'd rather see Luba, Jowita, Lauren etc with partners than her.

I wouldn't overly miss Dianne either, but I'd absolutely hate a big clearing out of longer serving pros.

Thing with Facebook & Insta is you have a generation split. I’m early 30’s & a few people I know still use Facebook but not many. Any friends I have under 30 don’t use it at all. Friends 40+ do use Facebook. Nearly everyone I know around my age or younger uses Insta. The over 40’s, not so much. The youngest people I know don’t use either! Its all about TikTok (Obvs this is generalising but on the whole, social media appeals to specific generations)

I suspect Facebook is the core of the Strictly audience. Millennials and upwards. YouTube is probably the most indicative as it’s universal.

That's why I was surprised Angela R is doing just as well on Insta as FB, but she's crossing generations. Mind you, I never really take YT into account as one person could watch 100 times, where you can only like once on FB and Insta.

Yeah I would agree
Having a nosey at a dance on socials doesn't mean that they then put a vote in for that person it could simply be curiosity.

I go straight onto insta after the live show finishes and watch them all because I love seeing everyones reactions when they go back stage fresh from performing
Technically I'm giving a view count to all of them but I can honestly say I only ever vote for Nigel, Ellie and Layton

I viewed Bobby's dance several times on YT (so bumped up his view count by 3) just to prove to myself that he to made mistakes in his cha cha after Nigel being slated for his but i never voted Bobby if that makes sense .

The show needs a big refresh on the Pro's imo especially the female line up.
Females to keep:
Katya she clearly has plenty of drive and creativity still left for the show.
Jowita she had a great first year and I'm sure she has lots more to give going forward.
Lauren has been a great addition.
Amy I would love to see her back, I might roll my eyes at her sometimes but she at least always gives it 100%

Karen seems over the show, and I feel Diane and Nadiya have gone as far as they can go. Nancy and Luba I'm fairly neutral on.

The males have had a decent refresh over the last couple of years the only ones I feel are past it are Gio and Neil. That being said I wouldn't mind if Graz and Gorka moved on too.

I always base it on likes as opposed to views, but then people in previous years like Dan Walker and Ellie Taylor, etc, never accumulated a huge amount of SM likes, but glided quite effortlessly through the show.

Hamza and Helen were always in the top three last year, though. Year before, Rose by a country mile.

Same, I find her a bit cold.
Katya is my new fave female pro (she's taken the crown from Karen for me.) She's an absolute queen, she's got energy, talent, and just seems like a lovely woman.
I love Nancy and Jowita, too.

I like Graz, Vito and Nikita on the guys side, Kai too.

I really like her too, and I think she's generally been pretty graceful about being on the bench. I liked the sign language videos she was doing with Rose on tour.

I'm glad she's had a good run with Adam (which I assume will be over on Saturday now he's got the rumba)
