He just hasn't done a really good dance yet! his best was probably the samba? which was fine, but not memorable. All of the others in the top half have produced at least one memorable dance/moment. Surely he can't just drift to a win on being a Nice Young Man With a Tragic Backstory?i will literally never watch again if he wins. you will NEVER see me on this thread again

The support for Ellie on FB is overwhelming, I think droves are falling for Vito and dropping Gio. Hardly a whisper about Angela R, apart from saying she’s overscored all the time. I’d say Bobby is probably second in popularity.

I think Karen is done with the show. She was positively buzzing on ITT after being voted out, it was the happiest I’ve seen her all series.

I wouldn't object at all to a lovely Krishnan win, and he clearly has some backing - maybe if his CC is amazing a la Bill Bailey he can get some momentum? It’s funny really, because series 3 was the absolute pinnacle of desperation for a male win. I honestly think they thought they would never get a male winner and the panic was palpable. Whole judging panels about how it was harder for men, especially big rufty tufty blokey bloke sportsmen from Yorkshire. Thing with Facebook & Insta is you have a generation split. I’m early 30’s & a few people I know still use Facebook but not many. Any friends I have under 30 don’t use it at all. Friends 40+ do use Facebook. Nearly everyone I know around my age or younger uses Insta. The over 40’s, not so much. The youngest people I know don’t use either! Its all about TikTok (Obvs this is generalising but on the whole, social media appeals to specific generations)
I suspect Facebook is the core of the Strictly audience. Millennials and upwards. YouTube is probably the most indicative as it’s universal.

fully agree that this year is the last we’ll see of karen on the show. she was just completely checked out. intrigued to see how gorka plays it as there just doesn’t seem to be a place for him there anymore.
it does all depend on if amy comes back but, if she does, i think they’ll want both her and lauren so agree that nancy could be benched. i also hope luba has shown enough to get another regular slot next year!
I would like Lauren and Luba to have partners again next year. And Katya and Nancy.
