Michelle Visage has been cast as Morticia in The Addam's Family musical. No doubt this was all down to Gio of course...
His influence knows no bounds! LadyLav has reviewed Amanda's appearance yesterday on a local radio station (I love how she gave up her time to do it, presumably terrified that Gio was going to be slandered at any minute!). Her kind summary:
" If you like a two-hour chat about HRT, menopause symptoms and collagen shots for ageing skin, this is the show for you"

was certain Layton would be able to out dance anyone in a potential semi final dance off, but if they are using up all of the dances he’s best at so early and he stuck with some dodgy ballroom towards the end then I think one of the others could definitely beat him.

Just checked: Layton has the following left: American Smooth, Foxtrot, Waltz Charleston, Paso Doble, Rumba / Argentine Tango, Couple's Choice
So he could be fine - a ballroom next week, then the week after is Blackpool so maybe a Charleston, then he's still got paso, AT, and CC.. all of which I can imagine being very good.

I think as much as some of the pros may not want to leave (Karen/Dianne/Gorka/Gio) they all probably should be gently pushed out the door because the lineup needs a change, especially on the female side

I guess, but at the same time Strictly thrives on familiarity and only making small changes here and there. On here we pick apart and analyse every single thing to do with the pros, but when it comes to casual viewers, I think the producers can see the value in hanging onto popular familiar faces. I know lots of people don't recognise ANY pros (apart from maybe Anton), but there's no denying that those four are probably the more well known ones. They will no doubt leave at some point, but I can't see being pushed out. Unless one of them *might* have said something inappropriate that forced their celeb to quit....

Plus, if they're going to get rid of any long serving pros, surely it would be Neil first. Poor Neil 😬

Both Layton and Ellie are in a strong position, Ellie’s got the samba behind and out of what she has left the only one I could see her potentially struggling with would be the rumba but she would probably pull that off, Layton actually has plenty that could be showstoppers still- Charleston, couples choice, rumba, paso, AT…in fact he could easily make it to the final with just one or 2 more ballroom dances.

Angela R on the other hand is running out of anything slow and after this week…not that that seemed to stop her doing the slowest Charleston known to man

Adam and Luba: Rumba to Dancing On My Own by Calum Scott

Annabel and Johannes: Couple’s Choice to Wings by Birdy

Angela R and Kai: Waltz to Fascination by Nat King Cole

Angela S and Carlos: Samba to Ain’t It Funny by Jennifer Lopez

Bobby and Dianne: Argentine Tango to Sail by AWOLNATION

Ellie and Vito: American Smooth to Ain’t That A Kick In The Head by Robbie Williams

Krishnan and Lauren: Couple’s Choice to You Can Call Me Al by Paul Simon

Layton and Nikita: Jive to Shake Ur Body by SHY FX, T.Power, Di

Nigel and Katya: Tango to Nothing Breaks Like a Heart by Mark Ronson ft. Miley Cyrus

I love Wings by Birdy, how many ways are they going to murder that? 🤔

🤣🤣🤣

She really is the most mealy-mouthed fucker I’ve ever come across!

Thanks and yeah that's really interesting tbh I hadn't thought of likes reflecting votes but if the stats speak for themselves it could mean there will be some real shock exits soon .

Yeah, I always follow it, and find it quite interesting. It has actually been quite a mix so far this year - but far from exact to be fair.

Like I say, you can get ones who never garner much more than a couple thousand likes, but do have a strong public vote. Then someone could ping into the top three a few times with a fab dance, like Layton, but we know he probably has a much weaker public vote.

Based on it so far, Angela R has a great chance of surpassing BP and making it through to week 10. Bobby seems like an easy ride to the final. Nigel hovers around a decent amount that probably doesn't a reflect a much stronger public vote.

Can she sing? They always have her mentoring the singing challenges on Drag Race
I saw her in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (when Layton was playing the lead!) and she was great. She wobbled a bit in places with the Sheffield accent but it’s very hard to maintain and I think she was only in for a short run so probably didn’t have the luxury of much rehearsal time. She has a good singing voice.
(She sang on a Steps record recently too - was it Heartbreak In The City?)

I feel a bit sorry for Adam with the ‘bounce back’ rhumba, but I do just wonder if he’s stuck his arm out to catch the bus rather than it coming for him deliberately. It’s the Ugo patented thank you for keeping going and not leaving us another man down and we know you’re struggling, so … have a rhumba. That should do it.
