Evening all, long time lurker here who loves this thread! This popped up on iPlayer the other night after a program I’d been watching. It’s from 2016 when Len left Strictly but obviously very poignant now. Beautiful tribute, made me cry 😢 If the link doesn’t work it’s on iplayer (couldn’t find it on YouTube) called Strictly Len Goodman

He’ll be given a smear of green face paint, some mock wounds and blood trickles and possiblly a bit of flour in his hair (basically as little as make up can get away with), propped in the corner and ignored. If a tango tops the Halloween leader board, he may be referenced just for the laughs.

That’s because him and AJ were a great match , and she brought out his 🔥 side. 2021 Kai has been hidden since then. He really needs another girl like her next year. It also shows how well he can teach when he puts his mind to it, Aj was a complete non dancer, not a ringer at all.
 
Waits for the inevitable Fail headline “Strictly star breaks silence following exit” … 🙄🤔

I was actually surprised he returned for the group dance.

What do we reckon about Amanda? Do we think she'll come back for it? Bear in mind they have to contribute to the VT about what Strictly meant to them. I can't imagine she will.

She wants him to be in the Christmas Special with either Michelle or Faye! (why not some of his other partners, eh, LL? oh..). Make it the Fanny Rat Show! The public wants to know when GPVita is launching! I've got a nasty fungal rash that needs treating.

(As an aside, I looked across the various FB groups there and there is a lot of love for Ellie and Vito, more than I thought. It does look like, even with some FR fans, Vito is displacing Gio in their affections, which is presumably why LL never utters his name.. Anyway bodes well-ish for Ellie maybe making the final..)

I miss Zoe’s sparkly jumpers and fabulous high heeled boots. I used to love seeing what she’d be wearing on that night’s ITT.

ITT has taken a dip in recent years. We’ve gone from Claudia, Zoe and Rylan - all experienced TV presenters - to Janette and Fleur. And I miss things like Waite’s warm-up where we used to get decent analysis of training clips from someone who knew what they were talking about.
 
I didn’t like Zoe on ITT - she just gabbled breathlessly and didn’t give anyone chance to talk :cool: And did the same as Janette with the closed questions and not listening.
Ian was annoying me as well towards the end … the warm ups became more about him and that wand.
my favourite was Claudia …but even in her last couple of years you could tell she was just basically phoning it in (I suppose 7 years of pretending that you don’t know what a throwaway oversway is from one September to the next gets a bit wearing).

to be honest, I think ITT is one of those programmes that has the same format and content whoever is presenting and the actual ‘stuff’ doesn’t vary much it’s just that some presenters make it feel more organic and fresher and some don’t.

Not sure if there is much new in this but the Star clearly has some sort of source.
I also saw in one of the other stories (the one about her not letting him know she was leaving) the Mail I think contacted both reps. His denied the story and said it was totally untrue: hers gave a very generic comment basically not denying the story, and mentioning the instagram post but just saying she wanted to be inclusive of the whole cast/crew (so deliberately not taking the opportunity to correct her omission of him..). The plot thickens - get Angela Rippon as Jessica Fletcher on it!
