For nearly £700 I will take Nikita, Vito, Katya and Jowita (yes I am greedy, sexually confused and tight).View attachment 2531890

A post from earlier today on DS about Amanda, these people are on crack.

Gawping at the fall-out on DS is my current guilty pleasure.

I’m especially enamoured of LadyLav’s painfully transparent pass-agging at Amanda: she truly does think Amanda is wonderful and talented, and she genuinely only wants good things for her in the future, but she’s ever so worried that she’s made herself look a bit flaky and will never be cast in anything ever again even despite having a fabulous agent, so perhaps if she went on The One Show and simpered for half an hour about what a great teacher Gio was and how his none of this was his fault, she might save her career and (direct quote) be cast in ‘Chekhov at the Chichester’.

Absolutely batshit! 😵‍💫

I noticed she referred to her as 'Amandroid' yesterday.

I love it when appreciation threads implode. They have to remember they are technically a joint appreciation thread when it patently obvious the celeb is only Appreciated for as long as the pro is in the running. A couple of months of nose holding and cooing crumbles faster than you can say ‘personal issues’

Honestly the 'Chekhov at the Chichester' line was chef's kiss. A masterclass. Also talking about how everyone else who left is booked and busy but 'I'm not sure if Amanda has anything lined up?' I bow down.

I especially enjoyed her commenting that ‘Les Dennis went straight back into 42nd Street …’

I saw Les Dennis in 42nd Street last week. Believe me when I say that his presence in said show should in no way be held up as an example of someone who has hopped from Strictly straight into another glorious success. 😐

I’m the words of my friend: ‘All that can be said about Les Dennis’s performance is that he was in the same building at the same time as the rest of us.’

Chekhov at the Chichester would be a good title for Anton/Shirley's next book 😁

This poster also said that Layton isn't a ringer because she had never heard of him before Strictly, and then got snippy when no one else would accept her definition of the word, instead of the actual meaning of the word that's in the dictionary 🤯

DS needs to be studied 🔍

I think they either have to go all in, have him there and do a quick interview. Something like Oh we're sad you can't continue, gio wishes Amanda well etc. Or he can't be there at all. Don't think he can just blend in to the background.

Remember Danny John Jules was on the show and he and Amy clearly had a clash of personalities.
When they got voted off, he didn't appear on the Monday ITT. Amy went on alone.
It was soon forgotten.

And Maura. One minute it was all I love you and moving in together. The next she was banished from his presence.
Rose Ayling-Ellis seemed to fall for him hook, line and sinker. Remember all that gushing after the series they won ended? Where she described him as the best person in the world or something. Her live-in partner - who she quickly got rid of - must have been mortified.
