I know everyone goes on about Jay's jive but I've always enjoyed this more.

Also I normally hate the rumba but Jay's is one of very few that I've watched more than once.

I quite liked him on Strictly but I just found him insufferable eventually. Then I thought he was really in the wrong dragging poor Johannes into his attention seeking. Even if he did ‘fall in love’ with him, keep it to yourself mate. You’ve got a long term boyfriend. And I imagine Johannes wants nothing to do with any hint of emotional cheating!

This rumba, Kara and Artem's rumba, Johannes and John's rumba and also, bizarrely, Katie and Anton's rumba are probably the best the show has had

During the results Jamelia and Peter Andre were the bottom two. In the results show Peter apparently got a standing ovation for his dance off and then the judges voted to save him and Janette even though Jamelia and Tristan were clearly better. It came out afterwards that the reaction (I think it was just the reaction) for Peter was filmed twice to make him seem better. They had to do a whole thing where Len came on ITT to explain how the judges decide who to save.
 
I also just watched Vincent and Rachel’s Argentine tango (they were robbed) and the show really misses Vincent and Flavia’s expertise. Theirs was the best competitive Argentine Tango ever, because Vincent choreographed it, now it’s become more of a show dance tango and they don’t even do half the classic steps.

I LOVE the bit where she steps on his leg. If I did that he’d never dance again 🤣

Vincent sometimes choreographs the ATs on the show and I usually can tell which ones he did. He’s got a very clear style.

i still think of the routine they did to showcase the AT before it got “launched” as a dance the contestants might have to do. like you say, it’s really become a showdance now rather than concentrating on the steps and the flicks/kicks.

i have a special spot in my heart for this one ngl. so deeply undermarked. she dances in the air!
