Kristina was a beautiful dancer and choreographer- the Argentine tango with Simon was amazing. Found an old pro dance with Brian


But not for nothing was she known in our house as the Russian strumpet. She was willing to wear dental floss and a hanky as a costume and she got about a lot! But I think the first few years she was really good.

Yes, but if it turns out to have been due to appalling behaviour from her pro, it would reflect quite badly on whoever's in charge that he wasn't immediately removed, so I'm a bit sceptical it could be true.

Then again, I don't know why I'm expecting TPTB not to be morons, maybe they really are just that dumb 😂
 
Just thinking about this Amanada/Gio thing (if indeed, it is a 'thing', which it of course might not be): aside from John Sargeant's withdrawal, Snog-gate, and a few affairs, in the 20+ years of Strictly there have been relatively few big scandals that made it into the public domain.

I would love to know what tit has gone down that they managed to conceal until it all blew over.

Not saying the Gio accusation is not true but it all seems a bit fishy 🤔
He is an arrogant so and so but saying something like that?

He dumped Georgia right before his second series of Strictly. He dumped Ashley a week after she talked in an interview about freezing her eggs. His horrible mate from Gola caught him on video earlier this year making crude comments about a girl's tits.
Rose and the BAFTA went to his head, and also went a long way to giving him a perfect white knight image and loads of new fans. (I saw some FB comments from people saying they hoped Rose would do a post with him soon to divert attention from this... basically seeing her as a human shield!)

(Not that I necessarily believe some rando in the Mail comments section..)

The whole 'Gorka losing his teeth in Blackpool' episode for a start plus Craig and Joe McFadden fling (allegedly) 😱

As I said when I posted the DM comments it could totally be bullshit.
Nobody will ever know unless they say. And I'm sure when John Waite was gushing about falling in love with Jojo he said even now he is limited by what he can say legally about the show.
The last thing producers want is a celeb saying they had an horrendous experience- doesnt look good when trying to recruit your next lot.
But if Gio truly had said something awful do you stand up for your principles, call him out and to hell with the contract?

Oh yes, the Gorka/Blackpool thing - I’d forgotten about that! I’d love to know what the truth of that was.

I’m choosing to bleach the Craig/Joe thing from my brain.

But I was meaning things that we never even get a sniff of or hear the slightest hint about. A couple of decades of an emotionally charged, high pressure environment featuring a rotating assortment of varied personalities - there must have been some major scandals that never made the light of day.

Wasnt it his girlfriend or something like that? I remember reading blackpool police saying theyd had no reports bout an assault (lancashire police i know).

See, I would argue the 2 things I mentioned have never made the light of day for your average fan - I only know cos of Mumsnet/DS/here . My mum, who would never go on Internet forums, has no idea about either of them 🤷‍♀️
