Emily barker from DTWSIRL would be my bet. She knows all the gang from Strictly .All her celebs ( of all ages and standards ) speak so well of her. (Also I met someone from behind the scenes on DTWSIRL who loved her. Said she was the same on and off camera. Same as Pasquale.)
 
I'd be interested to see a totally left field pro signing for the show. Pasquale/Lauren/Emily all look good on paper but maybe a bit predictable? So were Kai & Jowita last year but Nikita & Cameron were surprises.

Always liked that SCD has an international cast of pros from 5/6 continents and hope that continues even when some of the current lot move on. After all, there are so many different versions running now, should be fairly easy to poach someone.

To be fair i’ve followed this account for years and they have been absolutely spot on with not just strictly news but every exclusive or story they have ever posted 😂 Would certainly be something different that’s for sure…

I think this is right in that at least one will be totally unexpected. Pasquale seems lovely, and Lauren too.

Can't believe that Gio has gone almost directly from the SCD tour to his own one, to the new one with Anton. That is an insane schedule.

I believe they have that story from the S*n but not sure if that makes it more reliable.

I think Pasquale and Lauren are the ''obvious'' choices and theres no denying their talent but because it's so obvious makes it a bit boring for me. I mean no one saw Nikita coming and look how he has impressed his first series (Cameron is yet to be determined until he gets a partner). Plus would strictly go for Pasquale and Lauren when they are 32 & 31? When you think Kai, Nikita, Jowita and Cameron were 26, 24, 27 and 21 respectively? Strictly seem to hire a new pro from the mid to late twenties range. (Exception being Cameron being a very early 20's hire).

Plus would they also go for another italian pro when they already have Giovanni and Graziano?

As it looks like there will be a new male and female pro to replace Alijaz and Oti, I personally would like to see someone completely different. Out of the 8 female pros we have there are 3 who are WOC ( Nancy, Karen and Katya). It would be nice to see another WOC added to the line up; maybe not a black woman straight away as she would get immediate comparison to Oti but maybe from another country we havent seen represented on the show before eg. a middle eastern country perhaps or South Asia etc.
 
I don’t really care who care who they hire to be honest as long as they’re not a smug irritating twit or just a general knob. The only things I care about are a persons dancing ability and if they’re a good team player. I do think Pasquale is a front runner purely for his track record on other versions and he knows most of the current pros via burn the floor.
