At least they have moved on from the whole AJ/Kai relationship thing. Although I would imagine they are probably still coming up with wild theories and false information in private, just not on a forum 😂 I found it funny that in a recent interview AJ claimed she is always asked about Kai and whether they dated, she’s probably a bit fed up of that but at the end of the day you need to be prepared for that to be the case when you fake a showmance 😂 Saw another interview where the interviewer said they were specifically told not to ask about Kai, alright Beyonce chill out with your demands 😭

Stuff like this makes me think she's doing it to keep the rumour mill running, when in reality only a very small handful of people care whether she and Kai bonked during Strictly. That was months ago.

It looks like he's at home at the moment (could hear him on Gemma's stories the other day) - I wonder if he might have an injury? When I saw the pro tour last weekend, even though he was dancing and doing a lot of lifts etc, I noticed he wasn't quite going all out in some of the group dances and his posture was a bit odd (and yes, I was watching him in the group dances like a creep :LOL:)

Yeah, I think he's injured.
Will he be even able to do the tour if he misses (most of) the rehearsals?

I wonder if they'll adress it or if it'll be like the Cameron situation during pro tour 🤔

Last year Aljaz missed most of the west end shows of Here Come the Boys through injury and I don't think Aljaz or the tour producer mentioned it - I think I read it in a review or on DS?

I guess they don't want it to affect ticket sales but not announcing if someone isn't performing when you know in advance is a wee bit shady, even if they have disclaimers (not blaming the dancers - I guess they're not allowed to post about it)
 
I could be completely misremembering but was Gorka in Hospital at the back end of last year with a muscle problem that can be connected to over exercising?

From what I can find on Google, it doesn't sound like it's the sort of thing that causes lingering muscle problems? But who knows, maybe getting it once increases the risk of it happening again or something. I'd certainly be wary of overstuffing my schedule if I were him.
 
It seems like Gorka has been injured a couple of times in the past year. I wonder if that may curtail his time as a pro before long. I remember Gemma saying that the gym is his hobby aside from dancing and I imagine if he's doing that a lot during Strictly, he'd be putting his body under quite immense stress.
 
To be honest I think this will be Gorkas last series (with the possibility of January tour) between injuries and the fact Mia is now getting older and a an age where she knows her dads not about. I think he might step back a bit and maybe try working more in fitness and be around more. I don’t think he’s necessarily a in favour pro (with production) over the likes of Nikita and Kai and we don’t know who’s coming in to “replace” Aljaz yet who could also end up being a favourite with the production team.

I agree about the line up, it's really not that great. How's the tour been selling so far?

Gorka would have done three tours back to back if he hadn't injured himself 😯 Hope he's feeling better soon! He should take it easy now and enjoy some family time!

I had a look at some of the venues a few weeks back and it was a bit mixed - some seemed to be selling ok, some a bit slow

If it had been coming near me, I would have got tickets purely to see Gorka and Maisie dance together again, as the rest of the line up is a bit meh. But good that they made an announcement and that Gorka has some time to recover before Strictly

I wonder if Neil or Cameron will dance with Maisie now. Cameron closer in age, but Neil, for all his weirdness, is a much better dancer imo

Greed…. Nothing more than greedy money hungry tour promoters.

I’m assuming it was originally supposed to be instead of a professionals tour in 2021 but as 2020 pro tour was postponed twice they ended up both being in 2022. However for 2022 they’d already signed most of the pros up for BTF reunion tour so instead of the keep dancing promoter refunding everyone and trying again next year when more pros would’ve been available they’re shoving something together that nobody really wants to protect their profit. If I’m paying £40+ for strictly show I want to see a full cast of strictly professionals (or professionals adjacent like Jake/Josh Keefe etc the usual well known fill ins) I don’t want to be paying to see Rhys from cbbc and Maisie from eastenders.
