This, but I do think they need a really dynamic dancer. Oti had sparkle, Katya does to an extent but the other female pros are really kind of meh.

Amen to that! For some reason, they've stuck with this lineup consistently since 2017 but it's the worst female pro lineup they've had. Katya & Oti were the only star pros. Think Jowita could be good but they didn't give her a partner last year. Nadiya is a great dancer and I hope she gets a contender after Dan but I feel she does fade into the background if not given a decent dancer or someone really popular. Amy, Karen, Luba and Dianne (post Joe) do nothing for me.

I kinda long for the days where we had Ola, Flavia, Aliona, Kristina etc.

The bowing and scraping will be beyond belief.
I supposed it will be a new I just want to get to Movie week/Halloween/Blackpool/Buck House.
I wonder if they will put Tess in an a sparkly playpen so she can’t touch and break anything.
Although the thought of ThisYear’sTomFletcher doing a Charleston Dressed as Queen Victoria is strangely alluring. Heck, he’s probably try to get himself in for a By Special Request.
 
I think getting an episode filmed on Buckingham Palace would be fantastic publicity, for the show, the BBC and the royal family. But I think it will limit the series as a whole.

I think it will limit the casting as some celebs are quite anti royal (even if they don't say it in public) some celebs are very pro royal and who wants to listen to an entire series of 'I need to get to the palace'

But personally, I think it would be brilliant if they could get Sophie, Camilla and Zara to do a wee twirl on the dance floor - maybe for children in need!!!

The one thing I do like about is the idea that the Queen has just gone 'f**k it, let them all in, I don't give a shite anymore. Why not have I'm a Celeb in the palace gardens too'

Yeah, the Queen is tucked up in Windsor with her People’s Friend and Dubonnet thinking, do as you like, Never liked Buck House anyway.

I don't see her getting a solo presenting gig after this unless it was a much smaller show; I think she suits more panel shows and guest slots; she didn't really have much presenting experience before this and it definitely showed regardless of the show being rubbish.
 
Not surprising it’s getting the chop as it is a dreadful show but it would possibly have done “better” if it had been marketed differently. It should’ve been a 9/10pm midweek itv2 jobby rather than prime time Saturday night ITV1. It’s a shame for Oti and I imagine it’s a knock to her confidence but I can’t imagine why her agent thought it was a good idea for her to take the job (if we exclude the payday aspect)
 
Ugh at the Buckingham Palace stuff. Not my cup of tea and that's putting it mildly. And it's just going to add to the cultish feel of the show lately, woe betide anyone on the show who doesn't suck up to the Royals.

That'll be an episode to skip, if it happens.

Strangely enough katya and Oti are my least favourite. Let’s hope they get a proper ballroom specialist, not a contemp/show dancer.

Any updates from the Rose Gio shippers? Do they still think he is following new girls to cover up his love for Rose ?
I’m watching Loveisland ,Tasha knows both Rose and Gio so I bet they gave her pointers on faking a shownance for votes.
