I just can’t see them doing the showdance after how underwhelming it was? Wouldn’t his jacket from the american smooth be similar as well, where are you seeing it? I feel like if they were doing their showdance they would have said that rather than saying american smooth, surprised they aren’t doing couples choice though!

It was harmless and a bit of fun for people to be shipping them throughout the series (pretty sure this is when they both played up to it, don’t remember seeing anything after the show though that would imply they were together) but this should have ended as soon as he went public with Nadiya, yet it still continued for months and even now people are still going on about it.

People are still abusing Nadiya? I don't really look at the comments on her and Kai's post.

It was a story on the Strictly tour's Instagram a few days ago of a clothes rail with everyone's outfits, and Hamza's showdance jacket was there. I think he wore tails at Blackpool, so maybe he is doing that dance but with a different outfit. Or it might have just been for the photoshoot 🤔

Yeah it could be a different outfit, that’s happened a few times in the past. I’m sure we will find out soon anyway, i’m surprised the dances haven’t been revealed yet considering they revealed them pretty much straight after the show ended in 2021?
 
I see Gio has mysteriously acquired an extra 20k insta followers overnight! Bots must really love Actimel! :D

Filling the Vito-shaped hole in my life (as it were) with the radio interview he and Fleur did yesterday. It is cute - they FaceTimed on Christmas Day and he will be dancing in her next music video apparently. They are both super-excited for the tour.

Tbh, in the current climate I'm wondering if any of the pros will choose to give up at least 50k a year (plus potential tour £££), even if they did feel like moving on. Even Gio maybe, what with all his outgoings 😆

Although, I do wonder whether Neil and Cameron will be let go - Strictly won't be immune to budget cuts and paying extra pros to stand around not doing very much does seem a bit weird

I just checked Social Blade and he got more than 28k new followers yesterday! I feel another insta shadowban is on the horizon 😂
 
Unless Gorka misses home/family in Manchester, then I’d say that staying on Strictly is probably a good move. Maybe a bit of a sweet spot having SCD in the second half of the year and a mix of tours/family time in the first half.

I think one male and one female from the tenured pros will go though based on recent turnover and it may not necessarily be their call (though unless you’re Brendan, you’ll say you decided to move on). And maybe some of Cameron/Neil/Luba get axed with the lineup maybe going back to 18 pros.
 
If they do get rid of one male and one female - then I think male will between the Gs - Gorka, Gio or Graz. Females - Karen, Nadiya, Katya or Dianne. The Benched - maybe Neil, Cameron and Luba and get some 2 new males for the bench.
I think JoJo, Nikita, Kai, Carlos and Vito will be back if they want to be. As will Jowita and Amy. Perhaps Lauren might get a partner.

I don’t know why Amy would be seen as a hot commodity by the show - her choreo and partnerships are repetitive and dull and she has only seen the final once a few years ago now (and with a proper ringer). At least Katya & Jowita won their finals and did it with less obvious contenders.

Now up 35K! and if you look at them most are obvious bots. He's put up a post welcoming his 'new followers', presumably in an attempt to avoid getting shadowbanned. Cheeky!! I predict he'll get to a million followers soon and there will be huge fanfare about it.. He's overtaken Dianne now, who used to be miles ahead of him - the power of Actimel!
