It’s hilarious - every time I look he’s gone up another 1k! I’m sure this ‘person’ is very interested in Actimel and Hello Fresh!

All these folks who are brand new to Insta, have 2 posts and are rushing to follow a ballroom dancer, not remotely suspicious (I’m sure LadyLav would accuse me of defamation 😆)
How dare you! 35k people saw the GB News interview and immediately followed him to find out more about Actimel. Many of them just happen to be deeply shy and private people who don't like their image to be seen.

I don’t know why Amy would be seen as a hot commodity by the show - her choreo and partnerships are repetitive and dull and she has only seen the final once a few years ago now (and with a proper ringer). At least Katya & Jowita won their finals and did it with less obvious contenders.
I can't see Amy being let go somehow, I feel that with her very bubbly and innocent persona she fills a certain slot and she seems fairly popular with the public. I don't understand why Luba is kept on when they never give her a partner. Can any old timers remember if they've always had so many spare pros hanging around?

Normally the winners give interviews on This Morning/BBC Breakfast and the like as well as doing press interviews the week after they win but there was none of that. I don't put that down to Hamza being shy, he danced in front of millions of people every Saturday night, and I'm sure giving 'the winners' interview isn't too much of a hardship. I can't see them turning down press especially as they did an interview tonight but then again other contestants are doing interviews now as well like Will and Tyler so it's hardly now their 'winners interview' now.

I'm putting it down to it being more of a lacklustre season (the viewing figures showed that) plus maybe him not being the most outstanding finalist on the night.
I get the feeling that Hamza and Jowita, particularly Hamza, are just happy with their win and aren't arsed about recieving any fuss. I thought when they mentioned on the One Show that Jowita is the first female pro to win in her first year, she didn't seem particularly arsed- just said that it's about Hamza, not her

To be fair, not every account that looks like that is a bot. I only made an Instagram account to follow the pros (and a handful of other celebs,) so mine has no posts, no profile picture and no followers except probably some bots because I've never been bothered to check.

But yeah obviously that many all in one go are bots.

Gio is still going! 923k followers (from about 860k the other day). I guess the more followers, the more money for brand deals (but don't advertisers care if they are organic followers or not?)
On another note looks like the travel prog with him and Anton in Sicily is coming soon. Looking at G’s double-breasted camel jacket I think Stanley Tucci’s crown is safe..

I get the vibe it’s going to be more Gordon, Gino & Fred than Searching for Italy…

In other news, that programme is my total comfort and Stanley Tucci could probably hit me with his car and I would thank him. Never trying too hard that man 😍

I love him: I just watched the one where he went back to Calabria with his parents and it was so sweet.

Given the BBC are obsessed with these shows at the moment - Giovanna Fletcher going back to her dad's village; Alan Carr and Amanda Holden renovating a house in Sicily (?!) - I reiterate my plea for a series with Vito, Graziano, and Nikita driving around Italy sampling local produce and learning local dances.

As long as Graziano, Vito and Nikita end up wearing progressively less and less clothes as the show goes on
