these people actually need their heads examining. as i just said, give kai anyone with a bit of potential and it’s likely he takes them very far in the show. there’s only so much he could do with poor kaye who was as stiff as a board & suffered from horrendous anxiety, however the fact that she adores him and has said nothing but positive things about how great he made her experience speaks volumes about the type of person he is (pretty sure his dwts partners all say the exact same)
also what does him dancing to his nans favourite song have to do with AJ? as for his family, they publicly declared their love for all of his dwts partners as well so don’t think that’s anything special

I disagree. Of course he was gutted to be missing it as a pro because who wouldn’t, but I think he was equally as gutted for AJ because he knew how hard she had worked for her spot in the final. It wasn’t normal circumstances so I don’t think it’s fair to judge how either of them reacted. To me it seemed like Kai had been trying to keep it together and be positive throughout the week for the sake of AJ, but having to eventually withdraw it probably all hit him at once.
Yeah that’s fair, but again it’s hard to judge what another pro would have done because none of them have ever been in the situation. Nancy had a nervous breakdown when Will was eliminated, as did Dianne back in 2019 with Dev. Every pro is emotional/upset when their celeb is voted out in normal circumstances so obviously having to withdraw so close to the final due to injury would have been awful.
The crazy always surfaces no matter how hard they try. They genuinely need help.I think there is abundant evidence herewith that the breezy protestations of ‘oh yeah, we’re all dead chill’ are somewhat disingenuous.

Surely a blind man and his deaf dog knows that it‘s challenging for the pro’s … they are trainer, sports coach, psychoanalyst and cheerleader all in one. They have to give the celeb enough confidence to get out on live tele in whatever Vicky Giggles and her Elves have knocked up for them this week and then stand while the judges undo all that work … and that before you get to shoehorning inappropriate dances and themes onto inappropriate tracks.
I think people seriously underestimate how difficult it is for the pros. Not only do they have to choreograph/teach a brand new routine to the celebs every week but they also have to learn, rehearse & perform almost 20 pro dances over the course of the series. Gio, Gorka, Katya and i’m sure others have spoken in the past about how they pretty much become a support system for the celebs mentally too, that can’t be easy for them.
Exactly. People on the AT (and to a certain extent here) treat him as if AJ has been his only partner. It was a generic answer to who knows what question and no doubt edited how the Sun wants, simply saying that Strictly is an intense experience where the pro is at the beck and call of his celeb for the duration. That's pretty much true. How that has morphed into some insult to AJ beggars belief.
at some of the comments which could be torn apart by the truth. I just see it as a bit of click-bait to drum up their tour, although it does not read well.
